Doin' the Grand Villa Strut !!

I can't believe it !!! We managed to get a BWV Grand Villa for Thanksgiving 2004 !!! Wow !! I never thought I could get one. I called this morning and booked Wednesday the 24th of November to Sunday the 28th. I thought for sure that Wednesday the 24th would be booked solid, as anyone who called day by day would have been able to book it this past Friday. This will be our first family gathering ever......

I'm doing the strut right along with you! We booked a GV at SSR this morning for the same week, Mon-Sat. We'll be at USF the weekend before. Ain't life grand!?!

congratulations to you too !!! I am absolutley dumbfounded...... I don't want to wish my life away, but.......I am so excited about this !!!

My parents are aging, and there are some health problems with them. We have never traveled with them, and to have my brother's family along too is one great opportunity.

I am glad I said a prayer last night before bed.

How nice for you. I hope it will be a truly magical trip. We went this Thanksgiving and had a ball. Just being in Florida was a joy -- the weather was gorgeous. And spending Thanksgiving with my parents made it really nice for me!

Dave - We had a family trip there earlier this year and we had a BW GV. It was unbelievably great for a large group. We had a great deal of fun in the room every night before we went out - appetizers, cocktails and sometimes dinner - and we almost always all ended up back in the GV for dessert at the end of the night. My children planned a big breakfast one morning for all of the adults and made menus before we left home. I could go on and on but suffice it to say I thought that it was just fantastic....Rich

I'm struting right along with you. We booked a GV at HH for the whole TG week. Looking forward to a roaring fire, and mid-seventies temps (at least I hope so). I agree with your comments about family. We are inviting parents, in-laws and siblings. Since no one is getting younger, we decided not to wait til 2005 to do this trip as we had originally planned. Congrats!!
