Have heard so much about the Chocolate Soufles' and since
it is only available at Palo's, my question is,
would a single person feel uncomfortable having
dinner at Palo's (or would it make the couples feel
uncomfortable to see a single person having dinner(dessert)
at Palo.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I went solo, and I found another solo traveler (Grandmalinda) on this board, who was sailing on my cruise date. We had a blast and ate at Palo four times. (tea, dinner, 2 brunches). Maybe you can get lucky like we did.

That said, I'd eat up there alone at the drop of a hat.

ALSO, there is a counter up there. I asked, you can go in there and order from the counter (I was particularly interested in espresso).

I plan on doing it SOLO this time. My 4 year old son and I have gone on two previous cruises and i feel I missed out on something special. Any chance you are going on the 3-night 8/29 cruise???

Hi everybody.
Thanks for your responses and I'm glad that it can be done!
Chocolate Soufle here I come!

Cindy, no I have to wait until January,2003 but am planning for
either Spring Break in March or Easter 2003.

So far anyone that is cruisin' same time as my dd and I are
couples.

Hey Scratch,
If you end up doing Easter 2003 on the Wonder (or Jan. 4, 2003 on the Magic) and want some company at Palo, hubby and I are always game for company! We eat together every day of the week at home, so we like to chat with others during dinner on our cruises.

I cruised in June 2002 w/my DS-12 and I went to the high tea solo-style. Hindsight being 20/20, I wish I had checked this board for a tea partner -- someone to chat with.

I just booked the June 21, 2003 Western cruise and would love to meet other "board" members at Palo's. Anyone up to high tea or brunch next June?!

Scratch42 - thank you for the original post!

And just to say, any couple who is bothered by a solo diner has serious problems! Even if you don't find someone to go with, enjoy yourself!

Barb, I will let you know when I rebook. It all depends on Murphy(Murphey's Law),
seems he wants me to buy a new Vehicle.

Would definately want to meet up with you two just to say HI and
and big Thanks! My treat. See you in 2003/2004!

PS Mentioned to dd that if I go for the Fancy SUV, no WDW for at least
5 years. She now thinks economy. She doesn't know about January 26, 2003 cruise.
Thank the powers that be that this trip is paid for.

Thanks, again.
