And happy for the Dessert party - i'm going to check on that for our trip!

Stefy has been very excited to hear any news regarding the desert party and I actually woke her up from her Sunday afternoon nap to tell her but that didn't go so well haha. I am not so big on cakes but im sure there is a large enough selection there to please most people. Though I have heard people are greedy vultures during this party.....

Yeah we sat waiting once for 2 hrs in the thunder and lightning rain storm and it was cancelled. Still the best night of my life being there with stefy cuddling in our ponchos

In other news.......Our beloved HDTV has died

We got home and made dinner, sat down to watch a movie and this cracked looking colorful mess was all over the screen. It will probably cost about half of what we paid for it to repair it if its even possible as its probably just the one screen layer. R.I.P my friend. You will be missed

I am sorry to hear about your TV - no guarantee on it? I mean if it is only 16 months old? I know that WE have a two year guarantee here!
But I know how hard it can be if you are used to your TV. One of ours died after we had a heavy thunderstorm here and we had a hard time remembering it was broken every time we went into the room. "Hey, turn on the TV ........ ooops, just remembered it's broken!"

There are lots of yummy things to find and they do refill the buffet all the time. They have yummy chocolate covered strawberries, fresh fruit, creme brulee, chocolate truffles ........

I cant remember but I think we are only having breakfast at Kona, twice. Ohana for dinner on my birthday which im not overly fussed about but their pork dumpling thingies are fantastic. Stefy has said we have to be in the hotel area for that evening so I don't know but she is up to something

Yachtsman will be a great way to end our trip so whilst im looking forward to eating there, im also not looking forward to it because it will be the last day for a year

Haha yeah I love the scrap booking stuff and the sweeties and also the Pez set. That is so damn cool I dont want to open the box at all lol.

I am going to try and hot wash the t shirts so they shrink a little, bit big for me but I love them both all the same. Please dont take that the wrong way or think im being picky or rude, I just want to shrink them down so I can wear them and take pics in Disney

Hey thanks for joining!

Beleieve me, we felt the exact same way when we first saw the Poly in 07. We had a dinner reservation at Kona Cafe and we were both blown away by the place. We were in a cab as we were running late and from pulling up outside and seeing the tiki torches to the "waterfall feature" inside to the actual shop etc we were in awe and both said we would have to stay here one day. We didnt think that would be possible until we were in our thirties and had much better paying jobs but, we have somehow managed to save and save but ultimately it will be sooooo worth it to stay at the Poly

We (mostly I haha!) will be taking loads and loads of pictures this trip along with doing the photopass so stick around for the TR

Great news that you are doing the desert party, have you done it before or is this the first time? From what I have heard, the price has jumped up drastically due to it's popularity which is a shame.

We will send some shirts to you guys eventually, just hard finding them in London as our store is a bit crap when it comes to tees. Actually our stores suck in general as they are small, cramped, never have any collectables and are pretty limited.

Oh forgot to add this, im sure everyone has heard it before but.....

Thanks! Ha-Ha! I can't really explain what it was that made it so great really. I think it was a different situation than what we were used to. We would never normally sit on a bench for 2 hours, in the heavy rain, lightning dancing in the sky like crazy, but it was special in it's own way



Nooooooo, it is ruined and gone and I am really dissappointed because we have only had it for about 16 months, I have never had any electrical device break on me like that. I keep everything in perfect condition so it was a bit of a shock

It will sound really strange but I can't not have a TV We watch a lot of movies and i play on my ps3 when Stef is on her laptop so for me it's the only thing after work I like to do (lazy). So with that in mind and the repair being next to impossible, we are probably going to buy one on saturday and have it delivered the following week. They are REALLY pushing those 3dtvs at the moment and the next model up from mine is a 3dtv with wifi and a few other bits. About the same as what I paid for the old one so I guess silver linings etc as 3dtvs over here are really really expensive usually.

Oh and we are seeing Toy Story 3 tomorrow so we have been avoiding spoilers like the plague! I was listening to a podcast and they started to utter something about Andy and the ending and I threw those earphones out my ears and deleted it I usually don't mind spoilers but I will not have this movie ruined by anyone!

I cannot believe you only get a year warranty. That is nuts that it broke so quickly. I have two sons...one is "lazy" and likes to do nothing but sit in front of the television and play his games at times (he's 22).

I want to see Toy Story 3 too and I've been avoiding reading things so as to not here things I don't want to hear from those spoilers. Now that my cold is getting better maybe we can get to it this weekend.

We saw it on Tuesday night (I couldn't wait til the weekend!) and it was fantastic IMO .. possibly my favourite TS movie now - it had it all! ... it was sooo hard not to read spoilers beforehand, either via Facebook/DIS/podcasts etc, but I pretty much managed it... enjoy the movie, and take tissues!

Well I have actually already found the tv I I'll be ordering but I am going to an electrical store tomorrow to see if they have a 3D demo set up. I want to see if it works at a slight angle or basically not directly in the centre of the screen. our normal set up is that we have a small room so Stef sits in line with the tv but I am just to the side. If it works then I will splash the cash on some glasses as my ps3 is 3d ready as well hehe


I have heard that people have been getting very emotional and crying, I will let you know how it goes!
