Exciting Update ​

We just booked the Wishes Dessert Party for October 10th, the day after Dave's birthday so I am off the hook getting him a cake now

Am very excited as I have been waiting for them to extend beyond August for a while now. Can't wait to eat all the delicious desserts that they have to offer

How far did they extend it? I'm going to look it up... might want to do that in Nov/Dec!

Stefy, I'm sorry I've missing in action and sorry about all your venue problems again. Personally, I think, especially with the costs of weddings these days, that small, intimate affairs are the way to go. And the venue in Italy looks absolutely wonderful. I think it is a great idea and your fiance gets major points from me on suggesting it.

Oh wonderful!!

We had a VERY rainy night for our dessert party but it was nice to sit and have coffee and be under cover! We had a great table because we are 2 and I think they put parties of 2 in the front!

There was also a photopass photographer there!

Perfect locale for when it was raining and the fireworks must have looked really cool too.

Very cool that there is a Photopass Photographer there, will be making use of him/her and even more awesome if they tend to seat couples near the balcony

How far did they extend it? I'm going to look it up... might want to do that in Nov/Dec!

It is extended through to December, so you should be able to do it

I was going to get a cake in the beginning when I started planning his birthday, but I started to have second thoughts thinking that there are only two of us and that the cake would most prob melt in the heat as Sophia (OhioDisneyLover) mentioned that this happened to her last year and like you say its waaaaaaaaaay better than one cake as he gets to have lots of different yummy treats Also, am so glad I don't have to change our Narcoossee's ADR (we have it booked for 5:30pm in preparation for the Dessert Party) now as that would be hard to get most prob this later out.

We just tried booking The Fantasmic Dinner Package @ The Brown Derby but there was nothing available

The only other flexible option was to do it on the 3rd but then we would have had to give up our Le Cellier reservation. No way was that happening lol. We thought of just swapping the dates round if Le Cellier was available another day but obviously that wasn't likely either. Oh well nevermind, will definitely be trying it next time

Sadly not as there is only 1 showing per night and even then it's only showing less than a handful of times. Because of our other plans and meals, there was only 2 dates we could juggle things around. If Disney went back to showing it every night then it wouldn't be a problem. I'm not looking forward to lining up early for this one

It's a shame we could get a package, we were told it is completely sold out. But am gonna keep trying to see if there are any cancellations, otherwise like Dave says we can always try it out next year

It was completely sold out for all restaurants all day. Is quite scary really as when you also look online for restaurants there are alot that aren't available and it makes you think that it is going to be busy

Yeah you have to take what you can get with Le Cellier don't you. Oh and also FYI for you all, I asked the CM about the rumour that Le Cellier is going to be Signature Dining and she said as far as she is aware not this year and if I booked it as 1TS then I will be charged 1TS.

We got home and made dinner, sat down to watch a movie and this cracked looking colorful mess was all over the screen. It will probably cost about half of what we paid for it to repair it if its even possible as its probably just the one screen layer. R.I.P my friend. You will be missed

Thanks! Ha-Ha! I can't really explain what it was that made it so great really. I think it was a different situation than what we were used to. We would never normally sit on a bench for 2 hours, in the heavy rain, lightning dancing in the sky like crazy, but it was special in it's own way

But you do have a point.

Nooooooo, it is ruined and gone and I am really dissappointed because we have only had it for about 16 months, I have never had any electrical device break on me like that. I keep everything in perfect condition so it was a bit of a shock

It will sound really strange but I can't not have a TV We watch a lot of movies and i play on my ps3 when Stef is on her laptop so for me it's the only thing after work I like to do (lazy). So with that in mind and the repair being next to impossible, we are probably going to buy one on saturday and have it delivered the following week. They are REALLY pushing those 3dtvs at the moment and the next model up from mine is a 3dtv with wifi and a few other bits. About the same as what I paid for the old one so I guess silver linings etc as 3dtvs over here are really really expensive usually.

Oh and we are seeing Toy Story 3 tomorrow so we have been avoiding spoilers like the plague! I was listening to a podcast and they started to utter something about Andy and the ending and I threw those earphones out my ears and deleted it I usually don't mind spoilers but I will not have this movie ruined by anyone!
