Doin it in Style @ The Poly! September 2010 Here we Come!!!

Hope you're prepared to put on at least 5 pounds:rotfl: I'm jealous though! Looks great. Oh and I see a couple of spots you could squeeze in your Saana lunch. You could go on Friday the 8th on your way back from Downtown Disney. Or on Sunday the 10th after you are done with mini golf. I'd probably go for Friday though because you don't have any other big meals scheduled that day. Then on Sunday you could just go somewhere in the Boardwalk area or World Showcase counter service since you'll be over in those parts for the mini golf.

We will be prepared don't you worry :)

The 8th could be a possibility actually. We could try for an early Dinner there and then make our way back for the Party. Maybe a 3pm ressie, so we can get to the party for 6pm at least.

Hmmmmmmm, did I miss Wolfgang Puck's???????????

Are you going to SKIP my favourite? :lmao:

I know, we have to skip quite a few things this year :( Not happy about that I can tell you.

Hi guys!
Read this today and thought of you...

Review of the Dessert Party with pictures! All looks delicious.

Your ADR and day plans look fab... hope Dave's Man Flu is going away... my DF also suffers from 'serious' man flu.. even if we have the same cold, he'll say "mine is much worse than yours" :rotfl: men!

Emma princess: x

Thanx for that, I so so hope they extend this. I have rung twice this week to ask about September/October and they are booking up to end of May and said to call back in June to see if its been extended. I am going to keep an eye on the board and some threads though and try and call back now and then.

Yum yum yum!!! Especially Earl of Sandwich!!

Love all your plans so far!

We have skipped EoS both trips because of the long lines, but this year we are determined to try it out.

Hahaha! I love that breakfast is at Goofy's Candy Co. I approve :thumbsup2

Thank you :goodvibes I do love cake in the morning (bad I know), but we're on vacation :teeth:

Yummy plans. I love your choices! :thumbsup2

Thank you, although we have made a few changes after having one more look over, which I will post up next.

Morning All

Happy Good Friday :goodvibes

We can't make our ADR's until 12pm our time, so we have a couple of hours to kill.

Me and Dave went over the itinerary again and have made a couple of changes, nothing too major though.

We have changed our Boma time to 8pm, so we can leave before the park officially closes and there's a mad rush for the buses. What time does it get dark in October?

We also added Flame Tree BBQ for our lunch too, seeing as we are spending the whole day there.

On our first Epcot day we had Food and Wine down for lunch. I thought that seeing as we will be there for the whole day we might as well have lunch in Nine Dragons. We were originally going to eat there on the Wednesday (2 days later), but we were not going to be spending the whole day at Epcot on that day (you with me so far?). So we are going to have Food and Wine for lunch on that Wednesday instead. Hope that made sense.

On our Hollywood Studios Day we had Ohana down for dinner at 5:30pm. We figure that this is not going to give us enough time to get to the resort, wait, eat and then get back for Fantasmic at 8pm. So we are going to hop over to the Beach Club for Beaches and Cream instead.

Now we had to place Ohana somewhere as we defo do not want to miss out on dinner here, so we are going to be eating there on Dave's birthday now (instead of Kona). We are a little bit sad that we won't be able to eat there for dinner, but we figure we like Ohana more so its a small sacrifice to make.

Those are the changes, nothing major really, but lets see how it goes. I can only book up to 10 days of our holiday, but luckily we have all the popular/hard reservations early on.

Wish us luck :goodvibes

How'd you make out?! Did you get everything you wanted? The changes in your plans totally make sense to me. I think you made all the right choices. When I start talking like that, DH gets this faraway look in his eyes. He really tries to keep up but usually answers me with a "sounds good, honey."

popcorn:: You should be booking those ADRS right now:goodvibes

You were right, all done and ready to be revealed :goodvibes

Lol, awww bless him  Its like even though you have it down and it looks good, you look at it again another day and you see something that doesn't look right, or get another better idea.

Hope you were able to get all your ADR's!!! :goodvibes

Am just about to post what we were able to book :goodvibes

Bit disappointed :(

Or am I? ;)

What is that!?

Seriously...need details now!

:lmao: He's bad isn't he

Im sorry! I come in Peace :hippie: She is updating the post right now, forgive me now?:flower3:

So ......... WHAT did you book! :goodvibes :lmao:

Hope you get everything you wanted! Good girl, changing ADRs even before booking!

Yay! All our ADR's are done now, except for the last 4 days, can't book those til the 13th.

We spoke to a really nice CM and overall our dining booking experience took 45mins. I am terrible at remembering names, but I wish I had remembered hers. She was very helpful and answered any questions I had and even put forward helpful suggestions and stories about her experiences at WDW.

So, without further ado, I list below what we got and what times we were able to get:

Thursday 30/09/2010

Lunch: Liberty Tree Tavern - 2pm
(exactly the time we wanted)

Dinner: California Grill - 9:25pm (originally wanted 8pm, but works out ok as the CM sort of confirmed that that night looked like a MNSSHP night, so if Hallowishes starts at 9:30pm we can either enjoy our appetiser and then watch the fireworks or watch them first and then eat dinner)

Friday 01/10/2010

Dinner: Boma - 7:55pm
(originally wanted 8pm, so difference not a problem)

Saturday 02/10/2010

Dinner: Cinderella's Royal Table - 5:15pm (originally wanted 8:30pm, a bit disappointed with this time, but with restaurants like these you have to be flexible and luckily we aren't in any parks these days so its not like we have to work around this time)

Sunday 03/10/2010

Breakfast: Ohana's Best Friend Breakfast: 8:35am (originally wanted 9am - not too fussed about this time as we don't have to travel far to get to it)

Dinner: Le Cellier - 5:05pm
(originally wanted 5pm, not fussed with time difference)

Monday 04/10/2010

Breakfast: Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus - 8:35am (originally wanted 8am, but was told it opens at 8:30am. Good thing is we can enter the park at 8am to get to our reservation as long as we show our booking reference)

Lunch: Nine Dragons - 1pm
(exactly the time we wanted)

Dinner: Coral Reef - 8:10pm (originally wanted 7:30pm so we could use our preferred location for Illuminations, but that was all she had available - no problem though as we have figured out another day to use preferred viewing)

Tuesday 05/10/2010

Dinner: Teppan Edo - 8:30pm (exactly the time we wanted)

Wednesday 06/10/2010

Breakfast: Grand Floridian Cafe - 8:45am (originally wanted 8:30am - not much time difference so happy with time)

Dinner: Rose & Crown - 6:50pm
(originally wanted 7:30pm but not fussed as this is an EMH for this park in the PM)

Thursday 07/10/2010

No restaurants that required ADR's

Friday 08/10/2010

No restaurants that required ADR's

Saturday 09/10/2010

Breakfast: Kona Cafe - 9:15am (originally wanted 9:30am, not fussed about time difference)

Dinner: Ohana - 7pm (exactly the time we wanted)

We couldn't book after that as we were too far out to book. We were lucky to get the 9th, but our lovely CM said that we should try just in case it worked and it did :goodvibes

We also booked our preferred viewing for Illuminations on the Wednesday. She couldn't confirm where we needed to go for check in. She said that it used to be Morocco, but it has now changed, but the best thing to do is check with guest services any time that we get to WDW. Might ring before we go just to check and see if its up by them.

All in all we are very happy with what we got and hope that we have the same luck come the 13th.
