Doin it in Style @ The Poly! September 2010 Here we Come!!!

Sounds pretty good, what happens if I purchased it this wekeend? Is it like a 1 time use and you have to input the dates you are travelling first or could I buy it now and mess about with different days to get an idea of how it changes due to crowd levels? If it isn't one time use, is it a year license or something?

Thanks for the help by the way :goodvibes I am very bored at work and was browsing for some disney t shirts for men. There really isnt much out there from what I can see, lots of options for ladies but nothing really cool for guys.

If I remember correctly you put your trip date in when you order and it's good through that day. Or I think there is an option to sign up for a year. But they don't usually publish the dates more than a month or two in advance. So if you bought it now you could experiment with it, but it would mostly just be for fun because the wait times could change by the time your dates roll around.

Just came off the phone to a very excited Stefy! She has booked two tickets to MNSSHP on October 8th :D

Thanks to DisneyBarbie for the phone number she gave us, the UK offices had no idea bout the dates so she called the US number instead and got them instantly!

Yay for getting the tickets!! :cool1:

The MVMCP ticket dates are on sale too now.. I'm trying my hardest to hold back from buying them until June when the park hours are out lol.. I'm pretty sure we'll go on December 14th - but I better just wait see that that is the best date for EMHs, etc! :santa:

How odd that the UK Disney offices didn't know about it?! :confused3
I found that a lot with VirginHolidays on my trip with DF's family last year, although they advertise WDW holidays, they didn't seem to know much about the place IMO! ... I phoned up several times to get our Disney reservation number (for ADRs) and the person on the phone gave me.. the Yacht Club telephone number?! - then when I phoned to try book Magical Express.. they had no idea what it was! so i decided to book a limo instead lol - nice surprise, but not the same as DME!

Woooo Hoooo!!! That is very exciting! :thumbsup2 Every little thing like that makes it seem more real, doesn't it?

I was so excited when I got off the phone, I rang Dave straightaway. Can't wait til these 5 months are up I tell you :yay:

:yay::yay: Yay for tickets! I know that she was looking forward to being able to get them!

I am surprised that the UK number had no idea about the dates. It seems like you get info earlier in the UK than we do here in the states. I'm just happy that she got them! I bet you are both excited!!

I got ours this morning for September 14th. Surprising how easy it was to get through the line and to place the order. We got the AP rate too which will save us some money. :)

I was surprised too that UK were insistent on tickets going on sale beginning of May. Although, I do remember buying our tickets via the US number before.

Glad you got your tix too and on the date you wanted :dance3:

I would be scared to book with an agent. We are so used to booking with Disney, never really had any problems and it makes it alot easier and affordable for us too that we don't go bankrupt as soon as we book.

June is not that far round the corner, but I know how you feel. If it was me I would just buy the date I wanted to be there and work around it *** I'm too impatient

Hey all

Sorry for the long absence, have not been Dising, or surfing for that matter, lately. Work is just a bit too much right now and I am soooo exhausted at the end of the day that I just can't face going on the computer at home, when I have been on it all day at work :(

Not much has been happening. Bought a few more bits for the holiday and have also got my eye on some other stuff too.

I did, however, want to update you on my T Shirt of the Month :teeth: I really wanted to get another t shirt, but then this one came out towards the beginning of April and that threw a spanner into the works. But I decided to go for it and here it is :)

002-5.jpg

I love it and can't wait to wear it in the parks :lovestruc

So apart from that not much else, apart from the party tickets which I am very excited about and can now say that that is the last thing we ever have to book and we are ready to go baby

I am going to update more soon with our Must Do's, Day by Day's and other bits and bobs.

Oh we also booked Tony's for lunch on Dave's birthday. Its still in the maybe zone, as we were originally going to try Columbia Harbour House.

Well off to go watch the new season of The City. Just watched the new episode for The Hills and OMG it is juicy, not sure if anyone here watches it :teeth:

Ciao for now

Stefy x

You watch the Hills?! I am hooked! Heidi couldn't even cry b/c of the surgery. Who would want to subject themselves to that much pain? :confused3 She was way better looking when she was more natural. I guess when you have so much $$ you don't know what to do with it you can look however you want to look. She does have a point, though, when she says that her mom doesn't live where she does and it's expected to look a certain way out there (in L.A.)-and it is.

Do you watch HIMYM? What about Big Bang Theory? DH and I also really like The Marriage Ref, not sure if you get this show over there, though.

Hey stefy, glad you got your MNSSHP tickets, another step closer, hopefully the summer will pass nice and quickly for you! and hope work improves for you too!

I really confuse myself over attack plans for the big rides too! Not sure if you've seen this in the UG Dave, but apparently you can get another fastpass ONE HOUR after obtaining a fastpass for Tower of Terror rather than the customary two, might be worth thinking about if the park is super busy?

What about Toystory? Fastpass and Ride, Ride then fastpass or Other?! :rotfl: is it weird that this decision is so important to me?!

Cute shirt! :goodvibes And I completely agree about The Hills! I used to watch that show religiously...all the way back to the first season of Laguna Beach but then I kind of lost track last season. Apparently my DVR was set up to record it because I had recorded the season premier from Tuesday night so I watched it and I think I'm hooked again! If for nothing else to gawk at Heidi...Oh.My.God. she just looks terrible. :scared1: Why would she do that do herself?!

Did you see the picture at her mom's house of what she looked like before all of the plastic surgery? She was so pretty and natural looking. She really looks plastic now. She can't go back, she's stuck with it forever!

I felt so sorry for her, she must be hurting inside so much to put herself through that much physical pain. But I agree that she looked so much fresher and prettier in the first season.

This season looks so juicy, can't wait to see more.

Me and Dave LOVE HIMYM. Not sure if you saw the t shirt I got him, think I posted it on here. It says "Suit Up, Because Tonight is Going to Be Legendary"

We also love watching BBT too, so funny. Bazinga!

Never heard of The Marriage Ref, whats that about?

Thanx :goodvibes At least its the weekend now and a three day one at that :teeth:

Ah yes I remeber that ToT is different when it comes to FP's, which is cool.

TSM wise I think we are going to run for FP's and then ride after that if it isn't too long a wait. Not looking forward to the mad rush though, hate running with crowds, its just crazy I tell you :upsidedow

The last season wasn't v good as Lauren is gone and Kristin has taken her place, I only watched it for the Speidi drama.

I love how they took forever to show her face and kept flashing over her old pics from when she was younger.

Morning All

TGI Friday! :yay:

I forgot to add last night, being one step closer to our holiday, I finally entered all our ADR's into my Gmail calendar. Feels more real now its in the diary :teeth:

Can't update tonight, but defo this weekend. Am off to dinner and bowling with a friend. Should be fun, haven't bowled for ages.

Well TTFN

Our plan is always to.. ride Toystory first thing after rope-drop then get a Fast Pass for it... the huge line that forms in Pixar Place is for the FP machines.. it's longer than the line for the actual ride!?

Stefy.. I know you were trying to buy the Passporter book recently?
Well just this week I've discovered the Passporter website and podcast - both are really good!!

You can buy the book(s) from their store at passporter.com - the international shipping is about $22 - and if you use the code 'mulan' at the checkout this week, it'll save you 20% :goodvibes - I am very tempted, it looks like a really fun style of WDW guide book!

Emma princess: xx

Love the shirt!!! :thumbsup2 Joe's fav princess. :lmao::lmao:

So, how did you do bowling? :rolleyes1

Thanx, I love how vintage-y it looks :teeth:

Bowling was fun, I lost, but still had fun just playing :)

She is going tonight but knowing her she will come back with a broken nail or something :lmao:

Thanx for that smarta$s!

I had thought about riding it while everyone queues for FP's, but am worried that they will all be gone by the time we come off the ride and queue up to get them. But I suppose it depends if we would be happy to just ride it the once that day. Will leave the plan up to Dave as I am not really fussed what we do TBH :goodvibes

Thanx for the code for Passporters. Will defo check out their website, but right now I am leaving the honeymoon planning on the backburner for a bit. Part of my absence was because of that and other things. Am freaking out slightly over all I have on my plate at the moment, with the wedding, work, holiday and other stuff. Stressed myself out a bit too much trying to do everything at once, so have agreed to just finish the holiday stuff (which is nearly done) and then get onto the wedding planning.

I have heard that Passporters is the best for Cruise info and you should go for it and let me know what you think :teeth:

Sorry I could not comment earlier, it's been a LOOOOOONG tiresome week! ;) Thankfully we have Monday and Tuesday off! :cool1: So there is lots of time to catch up on all things DIS. So here goes ....... ;)

What a cute T-shirt, Stefy! Can't wait until it is time for you to wear it! ;)

:woohoo: getting your tickets for MNSSHP! :woohoo: You are so going to love the party! Don't forget to go to all the trick or treat stations - it was SO much fun last year!

aww sounds like you need this three day weekend! it's really tough when there's so much to juggle isn't it?!

For Toy Story Mania.. there will still be FPs left if you ride it first thing.. but they'll probably be for after lunchtime, about 12/1pm!
First time we rode it, DF & I were like "oh, we'll just get the FPs and give them away if we decide to leave the park before then... but then we decided we loved it way too much to give up the chance to ride it again! :woohoo: (later in the trip we gave away our FPs to Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin - so we spread the magic that day lol)

Hi All :wave2:

How are we all doing this weekend.

Just wanted to update you guys with what we did today. Not a bad day, went to Oxford Street, again! Had to go and get Dave's second pin in the Sword Set from the Disney Store. We also hit up New Look, Uniqlo and Selfridges. Bet you can guess what we came back with from Selfridges ;)

001-8.jpg

These ones are mine, three vanilla and one chocolate. But two vanilla's I got for my mum and dad, so I only had two today (well still have them, gonna have them for breakfast tomorrow, hee hee :teeth: .)
002-6.jpg

These ones are Dave's
004-6.jpg

As we were walking to the end of the Food Court I spied these out the corner of my eye.
007-5.jpg

I have read about them in magazines and thought why not look and see. They are delicate macaroons by Pierre Herme and are quite expensive for a boxful, but they did sell them individually (still expensive for one though), so I got two, chocolate with dark chocolate cocoa centre and passion fruit with a milk chocolate centre. They are divine let me tell you :cloud9: and I will now make a point to get at least one whenever we are in Selfridges.

008-3.jpg

Dave also saw something that caught his guy and proceeded to show and tell me about these certain items that a friend introduced him to. We got to try a free sample and my wonderful fiancee then proceeded to buy me a box of...
009-5.jpg

011-1.jpg

They are Chocolate Pearls by artisan du chocolat filled with milk ganache and smooth praline. Heavenly :cloud9:

After that purchase I hot footed it out of there fast in case we were enticed by anything else chocolately!

Dave got his next pin which was....

Sword in the Stone

Then on to Uniqlo where Dave got two tee's and I snuck in a sneaky purchase for myself. Dave's are pretty awesome, love the second one esp.

031-1.jpg

I also got a cute dress from New Look, for summer. Have been amassing some new summer clothing for this year, some might even make it over to Florida for some of our signature dining ADR's.

...and thats it for Saturday. We did watch the next film on our Disney list, which was 101 Dalmations. Haven't seen that since I was little. Such a cute film and I love all the references to London and all the London Streets etc.

So whats everyone else up to :goodvibes

WOW! Those cupcakes and cookies look incredible. I am so jealous that we cannot get them here in the states. I am drooling and I would give up my diet in a second to taste one of those!!!!!

Love the new clothes! Very cute.

Aww, I have not seen 101 Dalmations in years!

Mmmmm for the cupcakes and other chocolate goodies!

Love the clothes too.. I must check out Uniqlo, those Disney tees are lovely! really different :goodvibes

This weekend... today, I had my nails done - then did a mock exam for accounting, went to the gym.. then spent this evening on the DIS and ordering wedding things! :cool1:
Tomorrow we need to be at Heathrow by 6am to pick up my cousin & her hubbie from Australia.. sooo excited to see them! (thinking i'll need a latte or three to keep me going tomorrow though) - then gardening & more studying planned for the next two days - loving the three day weekend!

Thanx and tell me about long tiresome week. It felt like Friday on Wednesday, how sad is that :( But like you say three days baby!!!

I am amassing quite the collection of t shirts, might get them all out before we go and take a pic of them all :teeth:

Yes, so pleased we got our tickets. Gonna start researching it soon and formulate a plan of action. We might leave the Trick or Treat Stations til last as apparently when its getting towards the end of the night, the CM's just pile in the candy to get rid of it all :teeth:

Thanx  It really is and I just have to learn to slow down and not obsess so, as we have plenty of time to plan.

That doesn't sound too bad then. I wouldn't mind if we had to ride later on in the day. The thing I really love about FP's is that you don't even have to use them on your allocated time slot and that you can come back any time after your allocated time :goodvibes

I most prob the devil for showing you this but...it seems that this place in Columbus does them

Dalmations is such a cute film. I loved the Twilight Bark concept and how all the other dogs helped them out :goodvibes
