Doin it in Style @ The Poly! September 2010 Here we Come!!!

Morning Everyone! Sorry we haven't been around much, Stefy has been busy planning wedding things whilst I sit there and wonder how much this is all going to cost :lmao:

:lmao:

I love Harry Potter, but I know what you mean. I feel the same way towards the Twilight hype. :duck:

Looking forward to seeing more plans!

Oh God........Twilight.......Kill it.........Kill it with fire!!!!!!!!

I have already annoyed Stefy on more than one occasion with my rants and problems with the whole thing, I won't be doing that again trust me ;)

I have however treated myself to a disney tee, very old school Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers :D Am very pleased with it actually and look forward to wearing it in September. Doesnt seem that far away now!

You'd have more luck killing it if you used a wooden stake. Remember Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Now that was a great show back in the day! :rotfl2: I think I just saw a commercial tonite advertising for yet another vampire show starting up in the fall. :headache:

Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers! You need to post a picture of that :)

Yeah I remember, Stefy was a massive fan of both Buffy & Angel. I preferred Angel though as it was a bit grittier. Though the two best things about those shows were 1)Spike and 2)Giles. We watch Vampire Diaries and True Blood. Well I watch Vamp Diaries with her when I have nothing else to do but we both enjoy True Blood.

I keep meaning to post it along with another shirt that Stefy got me but I havent actually bothered to get the camera out and do it :goodvibes

I loved Angel. It was also more of a humorous show, love David Boreanaz. Spike was a fav of mine too... saw a re-run of Buffy the other day and Spike was front and centre in all his Billy Idol glory. :rotfl:

One of my fave Spike scenes is during the final episode (Or 2nd final maybe) of Angel. Its the one where they are told to do what they want before the final battle so he goes to the Bar to recite poetry :lmao: Such a cool scene with all the demons etc really gripped and moved by it.

Oh wow, I so want to watch these all again. I remember those final episodes... so good. Lorne the demon was one of my favorites too.

I think we will again one day, just not for a while. We rent movies and tv shows from LoveFilm and should be getting Fight club and The Cove today. Stefy has never seen Fight Club and I think she should give it a go. The Cove however might be too much for her, maybe even me but I have heard its a fascinating insight into what actually goes on during the dolphin slaughters (The oceon actually turns red from all the blood).

Then we have the Disney movies to watch, the next one is Mary Poppins which im not fussed about and then its The Jungle Book and Robin Hood. Both really great classics, would love for them to release Jungle Book on Blu Ray :D

Then finally by the time we get back from vacation Smallville season 10 should have kicked off (I hope so!!!) and I cannot wait for that one. The season 9 finale was absolutely brilliant. That will all have to wait as I think Stefy is taking me jogging or stomping tonight :scared1::scared1:

HUGE Buffy fan! We spoke about it at length on my honeymoon TR. (There are way more fans than I would have thought!) Once More With Feeling is on repeat in my car! We have all the seasons and watched them in a row! Then we bought all of Angel and didn't even get through season 2. Not sure why we stopped. Now we are back onto Buffy and when we get to season 4, we are going to back to back it with Angel the way it aired on TV so we can see how the crossover episodes worked back then! Funny thing is, I NEVER watched either when they were on TV. DH really got me into it.

Spike is the BEST!! Every episode, I just laugh and laugh at everything he says!

BTW, did you see the episode of Glee last night? Joss Whedon (of Buffy and Angel) directed it.

Edited to add: Also can not STAND the Twilight hype! Love Potter, though and I am also into True Blood. When is that supposed to start again?

Haha yeah Spike is the best, completely carries the show imo. Randy Giles! :happytv:

I think True Blood is actually coming back very very soon, I am sure I read that they had finished filming it or at least most of it so maybe another month or two?

I have never watched Glee, doesn't look like it would be my kind of thing but then again, I never watch hyped things. I think I only agreed to watch Lost with Stefy before season 5 started. So I was a few years late to the party ;)

Hi, Stefy. Okay...I'm back...I admit I didn't read every page, but I did skim through them. Love the shirts you've picked out; you've got a lot of really good ADR's planned. And I'm going to now keep up as you move along with your report.

Yay you're all caught up :teeth:

I have yet to lay all my Disney tees out to see how many I have. Am going to order the next one soon, decisions decisions :scratchin

We are sooo looking forward to all our food this year, quite a few are newbies for us as well, so should be an interesting gastronomical adventure

More updates soon I promise, but like Dave says wedding planning is taking over right now.

Loving all the Buffy convos :teeth: That show was awesome back in the day, as was Angel.

My fav seasons of Buffy is 3 and 5 and Angel would have to be 3-5.

Episodes would have to be The Gift from Buffy and...Lullaby from Angel.

Spike is a great character, he came out more in Angel as those two have great chemistry and history.

Yes I think we must start watching again, have been thinking about Alias too (love that show and Jen Garner).

My DBF hates Lord of the Rings and it really really annoys me...and one of our only rows has been over the histroical accuracy of the Da Vinci code...bit sad::rotfl:

looking forward to seeing the chip and dale shirt, i used to watch rescue rangers non stop!

and stefy would be really cool to see all your tshirts together!

Am hoping to update very soon (yeah I know I keep saying that). Was hoping to do tonight, but plans changed (out of my control) which I am not happy about.

So ended up speaking to my reception venue and talking about what we would like to have etc.

Must start a PJ soon :scratchin

Hello All :wave2:

Remember me? Yes I know I have not updated in like forever, but I have a good reason I promise :flower3:

Wedding Planning has taken over my life at the mo (apart from work) It's exciting, but also very stressful and tiring, so it hasn't left me with much energy/enthusiam for updates.

But things are coming along smoothly now and I have some time to update you guys with whats been going on.

First off I want to start off by updating you with some incredibly awesome and thoughtful. My dear friend Sophia (OhioDisneyLover) sent me and Dave an amazing Disney/Ohio Gift Box. Now there is a little bit of drama behind this story in that we thought we would never get the box  I remember Sophia saying that she had sent it and the days passed, then weeks until it hit the one month mark  I was so angry and scared that it was forever lost in the Royal Mail postage ether, but after Sophia provided me the Customs number I entered into the tracking system online and low and behold there it was (cue the hallelujah music :littleangel: ), but it was being held as they couldn't find my address  I rang our local delivery place (Parcelforce) and rearranged for them to deliver it to my office.

I can tell you me and Sophia must have siged a long sigh of relief that her package had been found.

Once the package arrived at my office I was so excited, I would say I ripped that puppy open, but let me tell you that box was sealed tighter than Fort Knox

Once I got into that bad boy I rang Dave and to tell him it had arrived and started to go through what was in it. All he got from our conversation was "Oh wow! Oh wow! Oh wow!" Needless to say he didn't get much from my description :lmao:

Here are all the goodies that we got (I love getting presents)

We also got some cool goodies from the R&RHoF, a drawstring bag, postcard, keyrings and a cool pin.

There were some cool looking popcorn balls from Euclid Beach Amusement Park, we haven't tried any yet but they look good
017-2.jpg

Dave got some cool Stitchy pins

Sophia can I just say that we love love love everything you sent. They are such thoughtful and wonderful gifts and we cannot wait to meet you and Joe in person very soon :grouphug:

Yay, the package arrived!!!!!!!!!! :dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer:

I thought that it was lost forever!

I'm so happy that you liked everything. Wasn't it funny how we thought it would be better to send it to your office instead of home since it was easier to deliver there? :lmao:

I'm so happy it made it and that both you and Dave liked everything. Have you tried the candy yet? There are some awesome chocolate covered potato chips in there along with some of my fav turtles.

It took me about 30 minutes to select the shirts from the Rock Hall. I was being quite picky. My cousin was with me and I think I drove her crazy. :lmao:

Did you find the coasters from the Rock Hall and such? I had a few little bags in there, etc. that I was afraid things may blend in with the packing materials? Also, there was a reusable bag from the Disney store with Tink on it. I just want to make sure that everything was there.

And yes, I taped the living daylights out of the box! :rotfl2: I didn't want to take a chance of it opening during transit.

Glad you liked your goodies!!!

I am looking forward to hearing more about your planning!!! popcorn:::surfweb:

Yesterday we went to see

PrinceofPersia.jpg

I must admit I really liked it. It was done really well, considering it was it's a game and other game movies have bombed in the past.

Jake Gyllenhaal was very good as the Prince (and quite cute too) and Gemma Aterton was stunning as Princess Tamina.

I would highly recommend seeing this, it has great comical moments, as well great action scenes and the parkour was quite cool too.

Before we watched the film we decided to treat ourselves and have some bubbly at the Champagne Bar in Westfield Shopping Centre. Its not a bad place to sit and relax, I had a Strawberry Bellini and then a second naughty Peach Bellini. Dave had a very nice sweet glass of Laurent Perrier Cuvee Demi Sec (which are thinking of having at the wedding, as well as some Bellinis) and a Peach Bellini.

The Bellinis were really refreshing, could have sat there for quite a while sipping them :goodvibes

I Tweeted some photos when we were there.

After our bubbles we headed over to the Disney Store to check out what they had and ended up coming away with

and we had to get one of these, he's just so cool. Would love for Disney to have him as a meet and greet character in the parks :teeth:

(sorry for the sideways-ness)

I also forgot to add Dave's latest pin from the Sword Series that he got last week, which was for The Black Cauldron

Yay, the package arrived!!!!!!!!!! :dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer:

I thought that it was lost forever!

I know, me too. When I found it I was so excited, I was telling everyone in the office about it, going on and on

I'm so happy that you liked everything. Wasn't it funny how we thought it would be better to send it to your office instead of home since it was easier to deliver there? :lmao:

Yes, would have been easier to send to my house most prob

I'm so happy it made it and that both you and Dave liked everything. Have you tried the candy yet? There are some awesome chocolate covered potato chips in there along with some of my fav turtles.

I tried the chocolate covered chips, quite different and unusual. What are turtles? So far we have tried the big marshmellow caramel nut thingy, peanut buttercup, cashew covered one and the long thing biscuit one (cookie) All very yummy and deliciously scrummy :goodvibes

It took me about 30 minutes to select the shirts from the Rock Hall. I was being quite picky. My cousin was with me and I think I drove her crazy. :lmao:

I'll bet, when I was picking out your purse and necklace I was taking forever too, which annoyed Dave to no end

Did you find the coasters from the Rock Hall and such? I had a few little bags in there, etc. that I was afraid things may blend in with the packing materials? Also, there was a reusable bag from the Disney store with Tink on it. I just want to make sure that everything was there.

Yes I got saw those, sorry forgot to mention. They are cool and will replace the work ones that we are currently using. I love the shopping bags, will use the Tink one when we go grocery shopping. I will be the only cool shopper with a Disney grocery bag :cool1:

And yes, I taped the living daylights out of the box! :rotfl2: I didn't want to take a chance of it opening during transit.

You should have seen me trying to open it, was a tough challenge I tell you

Glad you liked your goodies!!!

I am looking forward to hearing more about your planning!!! popcorn:::surfweb:

Again thank you so much for everything

Planning Stuff will be coming up shortly :)

I have one last life update then have to go. The weather over here is sweltering right now and I need a nice relaxing cool bath.

This update is about some tees that me and Dave bought recently.

I figure that this tee is Disney related seeing as how Disney own them.
001-9.jpg

I think it is really cool, would be even cooler if the chest piece glows in the dark :teeth:

Dave bought this one from a US site, is pretty cool and I remember watching the cartoon on Saturday mornings when I was little.
032.jpg

Oh forgot to mention, the Angel plush is a keyring which I decided to buy to go with my Stitch keyring I bought on our last trip. Am going to put them on my park park together and see if I get a reaction from Stitch :teeth:

You are very welcome. :goodvibes

The turtles are the cashew, caramel, chocolate thingys. Like my description?

I'm working on my touring plans now and posting my thoughts of what we are going to each day....all the while taking notes. :surfweb:

Looking forward to reading more of your plans.
