Dogs with BAD GAS. Any treatment secrets?

We give our dog a scoop of pumpkin every meal...it is great fiber...and if we don't, he has problems with his anal glands.

Funny thing (at least to me) he eats the pumpkin first.

I am not even going to THINK about this post near my GSD as she adores pumpkin. If she ever found out that pumpkin cures dog gas, she'd start intentionally letting go stinkers just to get pumpkin every meal.
