Dog Bully Sticks for Really Cheap

I received an email from Amazon stating that my 2 boxes (25 each) has shipped.

Check the shipping weight under ups tracking though, mine says 0.30 lbs which is not the 4.4 lbs 2 boxes of 25 should be. So looks like I have 2 sticks coming.

I just filed a claim for a refund. They are supposed to come Thursday but the shipping weight is 1.3 lbs so I know it's wrong. I see they are priced at $61 a box now.

Copy & Paste your UPS # from Amazon and put in the tracking box on UPS site, it should have the shipping weight there. HTH

I guess that we'll see what happens. I hope that people report back when their packages arrive so that we know what happened. I still think that you are wrong about how Amazon would handle refunds/returns on such a low-value item.

And thank you for the anatomy lesson. I know what a bully stick is. However, it is still a chew treat and it still has to be processed before it can be sold. It's the processing method that I find suspect in a lot of foreign factories.

Just chiming in here, as I also avoid any imported treats for my girls. Current FDA testing is showing that the pet deaths linked to Chinese treats may not actually be caused by the ingredients (though I wouldn't rule out that), but that imported pet food & treats undergo a much higher level of irradiation to sterilize than what is considered safe for human consumption. It's still being investigated and isn't conclusive yet, though Australia already linked the two together and stopped their practice of irradiating imported cat food a few years ago. Either way, if it's not already made in the US, I don't pick it up.

I ordered 12 boxes and received 12 individual dog treats. Contacted Amazon, who had to send an email to Petco, who has to approve the refund Hope I don't have to fight to get my money back.

I got my seven bully sticks, rather than seven 25 packs in the mail yesterday. I sent a complaint to Petco and was annoyed by their response. They told me they were willing to offer me a refund for the mistake Amazon made. All I had to do was send a separate email request for a return label. No

I looked again on Amazon today and they offered me a full credit in the form of Amazon $$ So I got the seven bully sticks plus a $32 refund.

I received only one too. I just went to my Amazon account under my orders and filed a claim. I stated that the order was wrong since I only received 1 bully stick and it stated 25 pack in the description. I also requested a full refund. A couple of days later I received my full refund without having to return the 1 bully stick that I had received. They did refund me on an Amazon gift card since I used that as payment when I ordered it.

Glad you got your refund without a problem. I was supposed to get my order last week, but the delivery date was moved to today. Guess I will go online as well to request a refund.

Got my gift card yesterday..super easy. 2 free treats are better than nothing, glad I didn't tell my dog there were 50 coming!

I got that two, responded, then went back to Amazon and told them I was not interested in dealing with Petco since I didn't purchase from them. Immediately received an email from Amazon stating the gift card was in my account.

Well, I received my 2 sticks today and immediately contacted Amazon by chat to have it taken care of. Grrr…she said that they had to forward an email to Pet Co first and give them 2 days to respond.
I told her that I had friends that had ordered them and Amazon was taking care of the refund process.
She said I had to go this route.
Waiting once again…this time to hear from Pet Co, I guess.
