I am just amazed that our dog does. She starts out the morning on the back of the couch in the TV room upstairs, where the sun hits, then moves to a spot in the dining room where there is a sun spot. When that one goes away she lounges on the deck in the sun. Then, when it gets too hot to be outside, she lounges in front of the patio doors, in the sun. She likes her sun spots. If it is cloudy she then moves from our bed to DD's bed to the couch. About 5 minutes before the kids are due home (during the school year) she hops up on her stool in the dining room to watch for them to come home. She stays by the back door in her dog bed until everyone is home for the night and then crawls into our bed.

Our dog does. If DH and I stay up "too late," she'll wait for us at the bottom of the stairs. She'll come around the corner, look at me meaningfully, sigh, and go down by the stairs. :lmao:

She really is a creature of habit and gets a tad huffy (deep sighs and eye rolling--it's like living with a teenage girl again) if we do something out of the ordinary. ;)

Yes, he can tap dance and juggle at the same time ;)

Our dog does that too :lmao:.

Mine is very routine driven. She gets up about 2-3 minutes after my husbands alarm goes off (4AM) to go out and pee. She stays out for about 20 minutes and then asks to come in where she promptly goes back to bed. During the weekdays, she's home alone in the cold-ish house so as soon as we get home, she likes to sit on the deck for about 30 minutes in the sunniest place she can find. Right at sundown, she finds her favorite spot in the backyard and she spends hours "critter watching."

Definitely. Dogs love routines and mine are no different. I am glad to hear that I am not the only one with a dog that knows bedtime and gets quite impatient with us when we aren't following his cues. He does not bark, just leads us to the stairs. Sometimes I wish he would just go to bed by himself but I appreciate his concern that I get my eight hours! ;) Mine also loves sunspots and gets very upset if it is cloudy (how dare the clouds block out his sun!), and the big sighs come out. He has to eat at 6 p.m., has to go out to go potty at his specified times, etc. It makes me laugh to think about his crazy schedule because it is so funny how he knows when to go into his crate because we are leaving, etc. :rotfl:
