Does World of Disney take DS gift cards?

I earned a $15 gift card a few weeks ago at the Disney Store and am wondering if I could save it and use it at World of Disney in Downtown Disney when we go in April. Does anyone have a clue if they accept them? Thanks!

No World of Disney does not accept TDS store gift cards.

But, perhaps you could buy disney dollars with your gift card at TDS to spend at downtown disney stores.

You can purchase disney dollars with a gift card.

The reason why you can't use the DS gift card is that WDW and DS are two completely separate business entities. It's like Pepsi owns KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, but they are three separate companies...the difference is that WDW, the Catalog, and DS all have Disney in their name.
