My husband and I each have one day left on two 2-day passes from a trip we took before my daughter was born. We would like to upgrade our passes and purchase a 2-day pass for her. Does US/IOA upgrade passes like Disney does?

Yes, if the pass does not have an expiration date, they will upgrade. And, unlike Disney, Universal will credit you the FULL price of your original ticket, even if you've used a day. Call Universal Studios Florida® Guest Services: (407) 224-6350 for more info. (press 5 to talk to an actual person)

I had two one-day passes from 1996, and we used them in 2001! The gate accepted one of them for US without a problem--we got a funny "it's about time you got here!" when they saw the purchase date.

We went to US Guest Services at the end of the day, to see what could be done about using the other one-day pass at IOA (which wasn't even a plan in 1996!). Best I was hoping for was a credit for the $30+ bucks the ticket cost towards a one-day IOA pass. Worst I figured was they would say no altogether. What they did was take the old pass, hand me an IOA one-day pass and told us to have fun! The guy wouldn't even accept a tip!!!

So I'm betting they'll take good care of you with your tickets!
