I called today to book our trip to the WL forr 7 nights for next Jan. The dates are from Tues Jan 6 till Tues Jan 13. I know its early, but I've always booked a year ahead of time in the past. These dates are apart of the value season which I thought was the cheapest. The price they gave me was $239 a night for a standard room. That sounds very high. Should I wait or is that correct?

Hi! :)

2004 rates are not in the system yet. So, Disney books you into the Regular Season rate of 2003 for the dates of 2004 and beyond (regardless of the actual dates). Your dates will most likely be Value Season when the rates are officially released (probably sometime in the fall of '03). And, yes, $239/night plus tax is the rack Regular Season rate for 2003. The Value Season rate for 2003 is $199/night plus tax.

Hope that wasn't too confusing! :)

Considering the 2004 rates have not come out it could very well mean that they are going up on the price. I do think however that would be a big increase from 199 to 239. The Contemporary's wing rooms are 239.00 now. Maybe they were just giving you an estimate until the real rates come out? HMMM??? Interesting::confused:

You may as well book it, if you can afford the deposit, and then you'll have the ressie. The price will probably go down, when Value Season rates are released, and then if good codes come out (probably in November) you may be able to knock as much as 40% off. But this way you have the ressie. You aren't locked into the rate they quote you.
