I made the decision to just go ahead and have us eat lunch at Pop so we wouldn’t be burning park time eating. I didn’t really get upset about us not getting to the park before 1pm because we were spending another full day then a MVMCP night at Magic Kingdom. All of us enjoyed the Pop food court then went to the bus stop.

Good idea, I'm stealing that!

I asked for a photopass picture, but that was a very bad idea, the sun was in all of our eyes:

We made our way onto Main Street USA and I got a picture of Hannah’s face when she saw the castle for the first time:

She put her hands to her cheeks and said “it’s beautiful, so beautiful”. I almost started crying. We turned to go in front of the Crystal Palace. The castle show was going on so we stopped for a minute.

I know I look like I was drunk, I was just so very happy I got to meet with Kathy and her family again.

Hannah looks adorable in her dress with her hair all done up! Great fairie and princess pictures!

I loved how Abbey did Hannah's hair.

I am so glad everything is fitting Hannah (and that she likes them.) It is a little difficult to sew with just measurements, but it looks like it worked this time!

Did you go to MVMCP? If so, could you PM me with a ballpark figure of ticket cost? My sister is thinking about treating us to Disney for Christmas next year and I thought I could contribute the MVMCP tickets as my gift to everyone--but with my drastic income drop when I retire in June, I need to save the money now!

You did a fantastic job, she oohed and ahhed over everything. We would suprise her each night with an outfit you made. We did go to MVMCP. I hope you get to go, do you know what month you are thinking of going?

The dinner with Kathy was fantastic, we couldn't have had better company. I have the Wishes CD and if I am having a bad day I just play it and it takes me back to our Happy Place.

All of Hannah's dresses turned out beautifully. Piper is very very talented. I love Soarin' too. I felt like Mary Poppins pulling things out of the sterilite container I brought to give Josh and Abbey all the meds etc for his foot.

While Bill and I decided what to do with the kids, Abbey headed toward the entrance of the park, she got to see some of the Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it Parade:

Meanwhile we decided to go through Minnie’s packed house. Hannah thought she would “help” Bill while he was driving through the house:

Then we went toward Fantasyland and the restaurant. We waited and waited and waited. The restaurant was full as usual so I found a place outside for the kids to sit. I finally closed my eyes and said to myself “calm down, everything will be ok”. I opened my eyes and 2 minutes later they showed up. We thought PVH was too crowded and I suggested Columbia Harbour House.

Once we got there Josh saw the menu and thought he wouldn’t like anything. (He would eat burgers every meal if he could). I told him we would go somewhere else, he said no, we went back and forth and I just breathed in and said “whatever” and I walked in. Guess what? He followed and shut up, I was amazed. We ate lunch and I suggested we break up for a while since they wanted to do Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain.

Bill and I went to the “new” Hall of Presidents and while we were waiting we talked to a CM. He knew everything about the presidents and could rattle off trivia so quickly. We thought this would be a perfect job for Christian someday as he loves facts.

We really enjoyed the way they redid the show and then watched the 3pm parade. After that we went to the Country Bears. I know some people don’t like this, etc., but we get a kick out of it. We met back up with everyone and decided we didn’t want to eat a table service so I called and cancelled the ressie and told them to go off again and to meet us at 6pm across from Hall of Presidents.

We went to do personal care at the First Aid Station and then sat outside of it to call Bill’s parents. We always seem to call them from that spot. Then we decided to do something we have never done:

Can you believe we have never tried a Dole Whip? Well now we have and Bill still goes on and on about it and can’t wait to get another one. We both really enjoyed it. After the family found us, Josh, Abbey, and Hannah made a run for Ariel so Hannah could meet her. Here they are happily waiting:

While Hannah was off with them, I gave Christian glow Sticks, Bill got his hands on one too:

The crew got back and Josh was grumbling about having to watch a parade. Then Abbey, Bill, and I gave him angry eyes and he shut up. We always get in the accessible section early to get a good vantage point. Bill is up by the line and we hung out behind him, there is a ledge there to sit on. There were chairs and ECV’s around us but it wasn’t really crowded. As soon as the music started and we saw the first parts of the parade, Josh and Abbey were enthralled. They were taking video and pictures.

After the parade was over they all talked about how much they loved it. Abbey said “if Bill says it is something we should do from now on just listen." Then we walked with them because they had some fastpasses for Big Thunder Mountain. Bill and I went to Peco’s Bill’s. By the time we looked around the restaurant and decided what to eat they were back so we all got our food and sat down. Wishes was going on and it sounded like we were being bombed. Hannah decided to entertain us:

She had seen a CM straightening up tables and well it was time for her second wind to kick in so she thought she would help the CM out, she put the new chairs where they belonged:

We ate talked about our day and then Josh and Abbey went to smoke. Christian and Hannah kept each other busy, she found the quarter:

They played this for awhile until Christian decided to put the quarter down her back, the thing is it didn’t hit the ground. I was just about to take her to the bathroom so she could get it and we saw Josh and Abbey coming back. Hannah stood up and we heard the quarter hit the floor, we all started laughing. They asked what we were laughing at. I told them “Hannah farted a quarter” and we all died laughing again. It was nice to be laughing and not in the huge crowds after Wishes. We slowly walked out of MK that night discussing our great day.

Next installment… Would we get to ride Toy Story Mania??

We saw our first SpectroMagic last April so I had planned to skip it this year because I thought the kids would be bored to see it again. Zach quickly corrected me!

We didn’t have dessert there, Bill and I had a funnel cake in mind. We went down into the store and I purchased some pick-a-pearls for Abbey and me. Christian was going to pick mine and Hannah would pick Abbey’s...

...I snapped, so upset I was crying and I won’t go into details but it got really ugly really fast. It ended up with the kids hugging me individually and telling Josh to not be mean...

I loved watching your pick-a-pearl video... the kids were so excited!

I was not very happy with Josh at this point in your story... for wanting to be treated as an adult, he sure wasn't acting like it! I wanted to give you a big hug of my own!

She was amazing. Hannah was glowing.

Neither one of us was emotional when Hannah met Tink, but when Cinderella took Hannah’s hand to lead her to the bench, Abbey lost it. Then she turned around and I lost it too.
