Does this mean we aren’t going to the mountains? ** 3/6 Link to new PTR**

Great update Tracy! I laughed so hard at farting a quarter! It is always wonderful to end an evening with laughter!

I have yet to fart a quarter, but I guess I'll be trying that on the next trip...;)

Jordan, I'm not so sure you should be trying that one after that great story you told on your PTR the other day! :rotfl2::lmao:

You guys did a lot on this day! :worship: Seems like the kids really enjoyed themselves; so glad they got to see the parade!

Just had to check to see if everything is all right with you. I'm following along in my usual quiet manner. But it is uncharacteristic of you to be absent for so long, so I began to get a little worried.

Just checking in. Miss reading your trip report, hope all is well. Can't wait to read more!

Melissa

what a wonderful update!!!!!!!!!!

I adore the "shy" picture of Hannah with Ariel.

CBJ is a classic, I really hope to see it the next trip. So glad you had such a nice evening, you deserved it!

Shy Hannah is a favorite of mine, but dancer Hannah is the best :thumbsup2

What a great afternoon/evening! A great mix of time together and time apart.

I love that laughter and magic filled the air!

I love that the parade CMS take the time to stop and say to Bill:)

I have yet to fart a quarter, but I guess I'll be trying that on the next trip...;)

I love it when the parade CM's do that too. If anyone can fart a quarter besides Hannah it would have to be you ;).

I loved watching your pick-a-pearl video... the kids were so excited!

I was not very happy with Josh at this point in your story... for wanting to be treated as an adult, he sure wasn't acting like it! :snooty: I wanted to give you a big hug of my own!

How sweet of Hannah to "help" Bill with his driving!! She is something else!

Gosh, I am really catching up, huh?

Kathy

I loved the pick-a-pearl time!!! It was so great. I wasn't very happy with Josh either, he was be an ... well I can't say what he was being but you know what I mean. Hannah is a little nut, I just adore her.

it made smile real big to hear the Disney Magic at it again and how everyone enjoyed Spectro...it is always a MUST for us too...and the quarter farting...just too cute...nothing like the little ones to make everyone laugh and be happy :goodvibes

Hope you make it on TSM!

Scrappie

Spectro is a must do for us, we just love it and the kids were mesmerized by it.

Great update Tracy! I laughed so hard at farting a quarter! It is always wonderful to end an evening with laughter!

We did have a great day. You are right about Jordan, he shouldn't try that after what has happened to him in the past :rotfl:.

The kids were great that day!

 Thanks Piper, I will post why I haven't been around.

:wave2: Hi Tracy & Bill! popcorn::

Hi Amy!!

Just checking in. Miss reading your trip report, hope all is well. Can't wait to read more!

Melissa

Thanks Melissa for caring.

==============================================================

I posted this on Enchanted and thought I would here too:

Bill is great, getting ready to start his last class before he gets his Master's degree in Rehabilitation Administration.

There is an organization called Coalition for Citizens with Disabilities in Illinois - CCDI. We had met some of the people at a convention 2 years ago. They have "regions" across the state to help people with disabilities get support and help they need. The "regions" have directors that are volunteer positions. They asked Bill to be the Regional Director here. He is excited about this since it will get him to interact with people in the disabled community and also talk to politicians in our state about issues that concern persons with disabilities. You never know where this may lead us :thumbsup2.

Me, well I am blah. I have been having major headaches, mostly because of the weather changes. When the pressure changes my head just throbs, I feel sick to my stomach and just want to lay down. I haven't been online as much but I am hoping to get back in the groove of things.

It was Disney Hollywood Studios day!!! Bill and I were so happy!! We got on the bus, Abbey took this pic:

100_1970.jpg

I took this one:

DSC00008.jpg

These pictures just makes my heart swell. Hannah just loves Josh and the feeling is mutual. We got to DHS quickly, they loved the Christmas tree:

100_1971.jpg

Abbey and I had discussed how hard the lines were on Christian with all the people, this is where he was getting into trouble. The stimulation was too much, he wouldn’t leave things alone, he wouldn’t listen etc. We did decide to get a GAC for him. We walked into Guest Relations and talked to a great CM. As soon as he saw Christian fidgeting, etc he got us a GAC, he also added Bill to it for some reason?

We decided to let Abbey, Christian, and Josh go to RnRC while we procured Toy Story Mania passes. Hannah was a little upset that she couldn’t ride things with Abbey, but I talked to her about going to see The Voyage of the Little Mermaid and that seemed to calm her down.

We were walking up the street when we were stopped by:

DSC00012.jpg

Paige Turner…she needed us to help her convince her parents that she had made the right decision to leave home to become an actress. She had signs made up for us to hold so she could take pictures to send back home. I was her bodyguard, Josh was supposed to be in love with her, and Christian was her biggest fan. She had us laughing so much, it was a great start to the day.

We went to TSM and Hannah helped me get the fastpasses, meanwhile Josh, Abbey, and Christian went here:

100_1972.jpg

They loved it. I don’t know how many times they rode it. They went on Tower of Terror too. Hannah wanted to see where we were going and I gave her the map:

DSC00014.jpg

Bill was checking to see football scores:

DSC00015.jpg

We went to VOTLM and there was a huge crowd of people with the same t shirt on that was a group with children in wheelchairs. There was no room for Hannah and I to sit by Bill, so we sat at the end of an aisle. At this point Hannah was getting antsy, saying she wanted Abbey and I promised we would call her after the show. As soon as Hannah saw Ariel she was happy. She really enjoyed the show. She only got a little scared when Ursula came out and Grandma Tracy put Hannah on my lap and she was fine after that. We stayed like that until the show was over. I really enjoyed this time when it was just us enjoying Disney (makes me teary eyed just typing about it).

When it was over, we got the stroller and I called Abbey as promised but they didn’t answer, they were on TOT. I got this weird feeling that I had the time for 50’s Prime Time Café wrong in my phone so I decided to call Disney Dining. Thank goodness I did, I had changed the time and forgotten about it. I had done this because lunch would have interfered with Lights, Motors, Action, but I had forgotten to update the time in my Blackberry :sad2:. So now we were about 20 minutes away from our ADR. I was in planner panic, very upset with myself for forgetting to update. I called Josh again, still no answer. We made our way to 50’s, I was so happy the park is compact and it wouldn’t take any time at all for them to be there when I finally reached them. Josh answered after my 5th call and they made their way to us.

I checked us in, told them about the wheelchair and they asked us to come in and wait. Here are some of my favorite pictures of the trip:

I really loved this picture:

DSC00022.jpg

I can remember sitting in front of a TV when I was little.

Josh said “look at this”:

DSC00026.jpg

I laughed and said “look at your ID you turn 21 in February".

Checking out the menu:

Christian and Bill look happy:

DSC00030.jpg

We had a great lunch, no drama. After a smoke break, we had enough time for Muppets 3D before LMA. Time for 3D glasses pictures.

Hannah:

DSC00035.jpg

Josh (doesn’t he look thrilled?):

DSC00036.jpg

Bill:

DSC00037.jpg

Everyone really enjoyed the show. I can’t even express how happy I am that Disney is showcasing the Muppets so much lately. I used to love to watch them and it was great to share them with Christian and Hannah.

It was time for LMA. Christian couldn’t believe how big it was. Bill and I really took pleasure in watching them watch the show. It was so great to see them find out the tricks used to make the stunts work.

DSC00041.jpg

Abbey couldn’t believe all the lights that were up on the Streets of America:

100_1981.jpg

We decided to split up so we could go do personal care. The kids went to Star Tours, without Bill (SHAME ON THEM):

Continued in next post....

We met back up at:

DSC00045.jpg

Well we were supposed to but the kids weren’t there yet, but then we saw this mysterious creature:

DSC00052.jpg

It’s LUXO JR!!!!! He put on a little show for us, yes just us, not for any of the other hundreds of people in Pixar Place.

DSC00060.jpg

After the little show, the kids showed up. We were getting out the fastpasses, Abbey digging in her purse, she had the GAC in her hand, the CM saw it and waved us in the fastpass line, I tried to explain we had fastpasses, but she said don’t worry about it.

Happy to get in line:

DSC00068.jpg

There was a little arguing between Christian and Hannah. After they got in trouble, Hannah looked like this:

DSC00070.jpg

Christian looked like this:

DSC00071.jpg

It doesn’t matter what mood he is in, point a camera at him and he smiles.

The accessible ride vehicle came and they were all so impressed how it worked. We went for our first ride and they LOVED it, giggles all around. We were leaving, all talking about how much fun we had and the kids wanted to do it again. I turned around and no one was in the accessible line, so we used our fastpasses and went again. I can’t tell you how much fun Bill and I have on this ride.

It was time to head toward the second showing of Fantasmic. As you know we were all packed in like sardines, we made our way up and got in this section:

DSC00073.jpg

I can not believe how differently I looked at Fantasmic this time. I knew Christian and Abbey would really like it, but I was so worried about Hannah. It just seemed so dark and scary when I was looking at it from her perspective. Luckily she barely even watched it, she found a little girl about her age and they became great friends while it was going on. I think the only part she really watched was when all the characters came out on the boat at the end.

We slowly made our way out and got on a bus. We went to the Pop food court and took our food back to the room, they ate at the food court and went to the arcade. It was a great day.

Next installment… it really was too good to last

Tracy, I was just about to sign off when I noticed that you posted... YEAH!! :cool1:

Josh seems to be in a much better mood today... what a difference it makes!

Paige Turner :goodvibes I love the Streetmosphere characters, too. Wouldn't that be a fun job?

I don't blame Hannah one little bit for being a bit frightened of Ursula at VOLM... she's HUGE and LOUD!!

Funny that she was more interested in socializing than in watching Fantasmic!

We missed Luxo Jr! :sad1: Isn't TSM just the greatest?! We did it 2x too! (We play TSM on the Wii all the time... but I like the 3D version at DS a lot better!)

Congrats to Bill on his appointment to Regional Director!! :cheer2: And I'm sending a bowl of virtual chicken soup to you.... feel better!

Kathy

Love the DHS updates!! The kids are too cute, and Bill looks so happy in all of the pictures! Your lead-in to the next installment is making me nervous. I hope things didn't get sour!!

I'm so glad to see you are back!:goodvibes I don't post a lot but I read all your updates. I'm sorry you have been feeling so yucky.

Congratulations to Bill! It sounds like a great position for him.

I loved the update! Great pictures! Sounds like you had a great day at DHS!

What a perfect day!

What a long day!

It seems like you did 3/4 of the attractions in the park. That's pretty good.

Your 20 year old sounds like he acts up in the next installment.

Glad your back on the dis..

My sinuses are driving me nuts...I feel horrible as well.

Tracy, so glad you had the perfect day. I know, from experience, that you have to take the days when you can get them. And any day where you can ride TSM back to back has to be a perfect day.

What a great day!! :goodvibes Seems like everyone was in a geat mood!! :thumbsup2

Congratulations to Bill for his new job & finishing up his degree! We have area agencies here in NH too. I hope you feel better soon.

What a great day, I love Hannahs face in the photos and Christian is funny with his constant smile :)

I'm enjoying your trip report.....but really wanted to drop a line to say that I never noticed that you were from Carbondale before. I knew southern illinois, but never knew (or remembered??) the town. My son is currently enrolled down there at SIU-C. He's a Junior so will be there another year and a half.

Kathy

I love the Streetmosphere characters too, although I have read that they have let go some of them lately and that makes me very sad. I loved having Hannah to myself for a little bit. I was happy she was having fun with that little girl instead of freaking out over Fantasmic.

Luxo JR was so cute. Bill would ride TSM all day if they would let him :rotfl:. Bill says thanks about the congrats and I say thanks for the soup, right now I just have a near constant headache :sad1:.

Love the DHS updates!! The kids are too cute, and Bill looks so happy in all of the pictures! Your lead-in to the next installment is making me nervous. I hope things didn't get sour!!

We love DHS!! Bill was happy that day, that is his favorite park. Sorry to make you nervous, I am just stating the facts ;).

It wasn't really that long of a day. We know how to get DHS done don't we? So sorry about your sinuses .

You are right about taking the days when you can. We miss TSM :rotfl2:.

Hi Amy! Bill says thank you. I hope this leads him where he wants to be, that is help others with disabilities be as independent as they can.

What a great day, I love Hannahs face in the photos and Christian is funny with his constant smile :)

Christian cracked me up about the way he would always smile.

Hi, thanks for reading our report. We can see the SIU out our balcony, it is a beautiful campus.

Congrats to Bill and his new job! That sounds like a great opportunity, and from what I've read about Bill, he'll be perfect for that job!

Sorry you are feeling crappy. My Dad has been feeling the same way, that weather down there cn really get you feeling bad and fast. Hope you are feeling better! :goodvibes:

What a day at HS!! You got a lot of good rides in and rode TSMM twice! I'm so jealous.

So happy you got a GAC for Christian. People have no idea how hard it is to travel with a child with ADD until you do it.

I've been in planner panic before and it's no fun, glad it worked out for you.

You have me nervous about your next installment.

I hope this volunteer position helps expand his social circle as well. SO sorry to hear that your Dad isn't feeling well either. It is this horrible weather.

DHS is an easy park for us, we just love that Bill can stay in his chair for much of it. I am happy we got the GAC as well, it helped a lot for the rest of the trip.

Any day riding TS is a good day. :goodvibes I love the detalis at MGM. When I was taking a photography class, I took a lot of pictures there. There are so many different things to see when you just stop to look.

Congrats to Bill and hugs to you and GO COLTS! :thumbsup2
