Does the Tag Fairy live here too

After saying at one point awhile ago how much I loved those little devils the tag fairies, they got me!!! When I got all excited about getting tagged, my dh came in to see what the commotion was all about. When I told him, he just rolled his eyes and said someone would be coming to take me away any time now!! I figure that there are just waaayy too many of us for them to take away and lock up!!! Just promise if you do catch one, you won't put 'em in a jar like a lightning bug!!! Tag fairies gotta soar!!

ahh, husbands, gotta love em. But if you watch, sometimes you catch them showing that they too, underneath it all, love all things Disney. My big, he-man, type guy thinks I don't notice when he sees Buzz Lightyear how he gets that little boy twinkle in his 45 year old eyes. Once when we were in the Disney store he noticed a red, white, and blue Woody doll (out new this year I think). He was commenting on how he didn't like it because they just ruined Woody, that is not what Woody looks like, etc. When I reminded him that the red, white, and blue American Buzz came out last year and that he BOUGHT one, he exclaimed to me in utter shock, BUT THAT's BUZZ!!

Husbands are a lot like tag fairies, SO very nice to have around.

I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe........
Clap, clap, clap, clap.
Standing on my head clapping.
Standing on my head clapping behind my back.
Standing on my head clapping behind my back juggling oranges with my feet.

How many posts does it take to no longer be a "Welcomed Guest"?

See what happens? I was going along....minding my own business and not paying too much attention to the left side of my screen and now I am noticing that I haven't been tagged and that although I have been perusing these boards for about a year I am still only a guest!

There should be one called "Part of the Woodwork" for those that may not post a lot but are on the boards for a year!

--Tammie :D

I didn't like being a "welcomed guest" either. Some other knowledgeable DISer told me to clap loudly and believe...like this...

CLAP ** CLAP ** CLAP

I DO BELIEVE IN THE TAG FAIRY ~ I DO BELIEVE IN THE TAG FAIRY ~ I DO BELIEVE IN THE TAG FAIRY

It worked for me before, maybe it will work for you, too. Now that I think about it, I wouldn't mind being visited again by the tag fairy! So...Tag Fairy, if you're out there...please visit us! We believe, really, we do! (Even though my family thinks I'm crazy and sometimes pretends not to know me!)

My family just roll their eyes, but they love me! I'm adorable!

Please tag fairy! We do believe. We are all waiting to see what surprises you will bring us.

Clap clap clap clap! We believe! We believe!

jcemom, binky, and iwannabeminnie would love to be tagged!

Tammie, I too was wondering how long it takes to lose our "welcome guest" tag. My husband and I have been reading these boards for so long, I am perminately attached to our chair. I read alot and mostly just post to things I feel really strongly about or have a question about. We do alot of laughing too.

My husband is also one of those He-Men who you wouldn't believe by looking at him that he is a complete and utter DISNEY NUT. As a matter of fact, he was at a class for work and they asked people to say something about themselves that no one would think of them just by looking at them, Well he said I am a Huge Disney Nut. People just couldn't believe that. When he told me that, I thought hey, cops are fun too, just not on the job.

Well anyway I digress. We too would love to be tagged by the TAG FAIRY.

CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP * CLAP* CLAP*

I BELIEVE IN ANYTHING TO DO WITH DISNEY

Copper: My husband is one of those "he-man" types too and he is now a closet Disney lover. He wouldn't even let me talk to him about Disney before our last trip (and his first) but as soon as we got there.....he was so happy he was pratically glowing. I even have him talked into going at least every 2 years (working on once a year....but don't want to push it yet).

Come on Tag Fairy......Please?

binkyj826, I think it is after the 75th post that you are no longer a "welcomed guest"but become a DIS veteran. If the tag fairy is interested my hubby is now aware that we are headed to WDW the last two weeks in July.He is quite happy to be going and has no idea I booked it way before "WE" decided to go.;) Anyway I am now planning for Feb.2004(hey it gets pretty cold here in RI!) and trying to work in our 3rd Disney Cruise for June 2004. Any suggestions tag fairy for breaking the news to hubby?? I love my tag and continue to live up to it!! Thank You tag fairy! Joan:Pinkbounc

God, I love my Ed. It only makes him more adorable that he is a Disney nut too! Less and less of a "closet" nut each and every day.

WE LOVE TAG FAIRIES!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

binkyj826, I was the first person to take my husband to Disney, he was 25. My family was there and he complained the whole drive up there, I mean complained! Once he got there, that was it he was hooked he did a complete turn around. My brother was the commando that year. The next time guess who was MR COMMANDO! You got it dear Hubby. Not only did he make all the ressies, he made an itinerrary (sp?) and if someone didn't like it, he would tell them he read all the info and this is the best plan. Our house is full of Disney info. Of course, it is all because of me. I love that man. He keeps me excitedly anticipating our Disney trips.

We weren't planning on going on vacation this year, but we went on our first Disney Cruise in April for our 12th Anniv. Without our son and he is now planning A trip for 10 days the end of August. So much for no vacation this year. YIPPIE Disney We will be there soon.

Sorry I tend to ramble on and on about Disney, but afterall isn't that why we are here, to live through others writings and memories until we too are in that wonderful place WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!

Diane

Joan: I had been trying to get my husband to go for so long that I decided to just go ahead and book it and surpise him on our anniversary that we were going. I basically didn't give him a choice in the matter. Bills, bills, bills he says (he can be no fun sometimes)! I had to do the same thing this year for the cruise we are going on in October.....Just book it and tell him about it later. Sorry.....not Disney cruise lines but as soon as I get back I am booking Disney World for October 2004!

Copper: I can't imaging my husband going "commando" on me. And if he thinks about taking over the planning I am going to slap him silly.....I think the second best thing about going to Disney, other than actually getting there, is the planning! I am not too much the commando, but I do like to know what days I am going to what park and where we are going to make our ps's. And god forbid I can get him up for early entry. "Its my vacation too" he says to me "I don't want to wake up as if I am going to work".
Men! They never understand! lol

binkyj826, Oh my DH LOVES to go to WDW, but he also just sees $$$$ when I first mention a trip!! I also like to have more than one trip planned or plan the next one while I am on a trip to WDW! It is because I do ALL the reading and PLANNING and it all goes so nice and smoothly, he just thinks that is how it is for everyone! I just make it seem all soooo easy! Anyway what I do when he says he wants to sleep in and I want to get up early and go is say fine you sleep and we will meet you at such and such a time. He NEVER takes me up on this offer, he is afraid he will miss something fun! WE do however come back to the hotel midday. Usually the kids and I hit the pool and he takes a nap! That to him is vacation, a nap in the middle of the day! But it keeps him happy! And I can always find SOMETHING to do in WDW!(although after about the 4th day I need a nap too) Joan

Hey! I got tagged! I LOVE the tag fairies! They are wonderful. Kisses, kisses, kisses! Thank you tag fairy, thank you! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I think the Tag Fairies are wonderful!!!!!!!

binkyj826, When my son turned about 4, he will be 7 in July, my husband stopped doing the commando thing, my brother and his family had stopped going then to, so it was usually just the four of us, My DH, our DS, my mom and Myself, so with 5 less people, we had less potty stops, less people that got hungry a half an hour after everyone else had eaten and less people to argue about what they wanted to see. The other five were my brother, sister in law, her mom and my 5yr nephew and 2 yr old niece. So we were able to stop the commando thing and just do what we wanted to do.

:D The tag fairy is wonderful!!! Ask and ye shall receive. It's a great gift....don't take it for granted.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
I'm clapping......:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
