Santa wraps everything- I would rather santa get all the credit for the short time they still believe. Soon enough she knew who really bought all the stuff all those years, I don't need "credit". Its the most fun for us getting up Christmas morning to a tree full of wrapped gifts and then each unwrapping them one by one! I think it would really suck for us to wake up and go in the living room and have all the toys sitting there unwrapped.

Santa always wrapped gifts in our house with different paper than the ones from Mom and Dad. Even now, with no little ones, Santa still always brings at least one gift for our family and funny how it's always wrapped in Disney gift wrap. I guess those elves are magical!!

In our house the Santa present is not wrapped but all the stocking presents are wrapped. Santa gives one big main gift and fills the stocking with other smaller gifts like necklaces or puzzles etc. I once got a bakers rack in my stocking so the skys the limit LOL

What a great poll.

Growing up, I thought everyone's Santa gift where unwrapped. Then I met my DH...he grew up with wrapped santa gift. I was so shocked! Needless to say our Santa gift's are not wrapped.

I can't believe "Santa"... wraps gifts in the stockings. I never would have never heard to this.

In our house "Santa" always leaves the child's gift, with their stocking (filled) next to it.

Santa always wraps gifts in a special paper that usually coordinates with the majority of gifts. The past few years have been Barbie Christmas, Disney Princess Christmas (twice), and High School Musical Christmas paper. This year will be a little trickier since the gifts are mostly black, white, and pink items to re-do a pre-teen bedroom and bathroom. Hopefully Santa will come through though.

Honestly, for me, picking the perfect paper each year is a big part of the fun!

I couldn't agree more!! Of course Santa wraps the presents, I can't imagine just sitting the stuff out under the tree....that is so weird to me. :confused3

Big items Santa leaves unwrapped at our house. Smaller items are wrapped with special Santa paper.

When DS11 was born Santa set everything up and put toys together. DS6 loves to unwrap, so now Santa wraps everything.

Certain ones were wrapped at my house growing up. I remember my pet snake was wrapped.. sort of, the aquarium had some paper kind of looped around it, but since I couldn't pick it up and the snake had to breathe, the top had holes in it. My bike and my sled weren't wrapped, they were too big. Santa didn't wrap presents in DH's house growing up.

Yes and it was a big mistake now that they are older they still want all the presents wrapped.

Yes, Santa wraps a few gifts at our house - mostly just for DD. Like someone else mentioned, Santa brings the big, unwrappable items and stockings too. We open most of our gifts at my folks. My parents, sis, DH & DD. All of us adults like to make the gifts "from" someone that serves as a clue. We have fun figuring out the gift from the clever or humorous clues.

You need an other choice for the poll. Yes & No

Until last year I thought that everyone's gifts were wrapped! I think unwrapping is half the fun! Occasionally Santa brings something that is too large to wrap, like a train table or last year was a desk with a computer on it, but those items are either covered with a blanket or in another room. We like to save the "big" gift until the end and you can't do that if it is unwrapped!

At our house we also don't separate between "parent" gifts and "Santa" gifts. Santa brings them but purchased them with our input and some of our money. That helped to explain last year when they didn't understand why Santa brings different amounts to everyone and why we were buying for kids who didn't get anything. They couldn't believe that Santa skipped some kids :(.

Nope. No wrapping here. Everything is out of the box, put together, and ready to play!

Nope Santa is to busy to wrap !

That's one of the reasons he has elves, to wrap! ;):rotfl:

I agree!

Yes, Santa gifts are wrapped in our house in Santa wrapping paper. :santa: Things too big too wrap have a huge red bow on them. Santa gifts were wrapped when I was growing up but my husband's Santa gifts were not wrapped. :scared1:

Unwrapping and the anticipation of what's under the wrapping paper is half the fun on Christmas morning. I wouldn't want to come to the tree to see stuff sitting there unwrapped, that would take away a lot of the fun. Plus, everything looks so pretty when it's wrapped and set up under/around the tree.
