Some are wrapped. Some are not. Lots are wrapped and unwrapped and hidden. Half the fun is finding the gifts and unwrapping them too.

Santa didn't wrap at my house growing up but did at DH's. I felt like since he was living closer to my family, we needed to include some of his traditions so Santa started wrapping. He uses his own special paper with his picture on it. He has a ton of different types of paper because he and the elves would get bored using the same paper over and over again. I love it. It makes Christmas morning last so much longer. And the kids are very good about taking their time and each opening a gift on at a time and then playing with it a few minutes before moving on. They also want to see what their siblings got.

Santa also got really smart quite a few years ago. He came up with the idea of using return address labels as his to/from labels. He prints out a page of To:DS1 From:Santa, for each of the three kids. Much easier that disguise handwriting all of that out. Plus when each kid has a whole sheet of labels, it makes it easier to make sure that all three kids have the exact same number of presents to open. Just check to make sure the same number of labels have been used! Santa totally spoils them. Because mom and dad don't all year long!

oh yes!! He has the elves do it for him! :goodvibes

I heard on the radio the other day that a black Friday ad had been leaked regarding a sale at Target. They said that a very large HD TV will be on sale for less than $300. I can't remember the details though.

It is a 32" for $249. I have my eye on that and it might just be enough to get me to Target at 5 am. I wonder if Target employees get access to Black Friday stuff early??? I have to check with my SIL.

Yes, that is the one I'm hoping to get. The Target here is notorious for not having sale items in stock, so I'm not counting on it.

I saw a 19 inch LG at Best Buy a week ago for $199. I thought that was a decent deal, but figured that I could really make out with a Black Friday deal so I didn't buy that one. Here is the TV Target is supposed to have for $249 on Black Friday:

It'll be sweet if I can get it! Wish me luck. pixiedust:

I saw the 19 inch tv's and they are pretty small. It depends on where you want to use it though. I want to mount one on the wall in our family room so we can also see it from the kitchen. A 19" would be too small.

It's for DS's bedroom. Its biggest use is likely to be for XBox Live.

Santa ALWAYS wrapped our presents growing up!
He was even kind enough to wrap my brother's gifts and my gifts in different colored paper so that we could tell our gifts apart! ;)

Santa always wraps the presents he gives in special paper that has Santas on it!! Always!! Nice, thick paper too! And special fabric ribbon bows!
And special tags......man, that is one busy and crafts guy!;)

Yes, but only in Santa themed wrapping paper of course! And on some extra special presents he tapes a bell from his sleigh!

No wrapping here. Santa leaves one big gift (or set) for each kid and it is all assembled and set up on Display under the tree. For example, this year DD will find the playmobile house set up and furnished with perhaps a parent cooking breakfast and a kid playing ball in the yard, etc. DS will find something very similar with the pyramid.

My kids are older but I wish we did the Santa doesn't wrap gifts thing. It would have made life easier.:santa:

Always!
My girls know where it all comes from at this point but Santa still has his own paper and he always addresses the gift tags in block letters so there is no confusion. ;)

Yep.

Funny thing about Santa's wrapped presents - my younger sister figured out there was no Santa when she noticed the presents from Mom & Dad and family were wrapped in the same wrapping paper as the presents from Santa.

When I had DD I always made sure to wrap Santa's presents in different wrapping paper. My DD is 12 now and knows there is no Santa so all the presents now are from Mom & Dad but they are wrapped.

Guess I have to wait for DD to get married and have kids to do the Santa thing again.

Santa wraps most presents in our house, and always has different paper than we do! But he usually leaves one or 2 things free of wrapping - either because they are something he wants DS to see right away, they require pre-assembly, or they are just difficult to wrap. These are usually displayed with the presents under the tree, but a couple of times something special was on the foot of DS's bed!

Yes Santa wraps. He even wraps in speical paper for DD and DS each. She's had 4 different Tink paper and several different princess paper. DS has had lots Scooby-Doo and Star Wars paper. And when there is a big combo gift, half is wrapped in her paper and half of his.

Santa loves to wrap present in our house. Santa puts the movie Armaggedon in and wraps for the entire movie.
