Thinking of making reservations at Les Chefs and was wondering if Remy still makes an appearance. Are the times still the same? 12:30 1:40 2:50 5:20

Our reservation time will depend on Remy. I would prefer to later dinner time, but I hope to be able to see Remy, so that will be the deciding factor.

Thanks, Karen

Character Dining

Don't miss "Bon Appétit from Chef Remy," a delightful visit with the adorable character from the Disney-Pixar film, Ratatouille! One of the newest additions to Walt Disney Imagineering's living characters, this "pint-sized prodigy" makes the rounds 4 times a day, 6 days a week, visiting Guests from atop a rolling chef's cart as he dances, laughs and even says "cheese" for photos!

1) REMY is still there.
2) He comes out pretty much right on time.
3) He makes ONE pass of the room.
4) You must ne seated at your table.
5) He does not go outside or to people standing in line.
6 Miss him, and you wait until the next tour.

NOTE: He is not guaranteed. If there is a mechanical glitch or
absenteeism, he does not tour. There is no warning for such.

Thanks for all the details!

6 days a week...which day will he not tour?

Good question, thanks for asking!

Remy takes Sunday off. He is scheduled to make rounds Monday - Saturday.

That's good to know!

I just made a lunch reseveration for 1:00, so we should be good. Thanks for everyone's help!

Let me ask this then. If the restaurant doesn't open for dinner until 5:30, how does he appear at 5:20, or is that a typo?

We have a 5:00 adr....any chance of being seated by 5:20?

I think you might be looking at Bistro not Chefs de france.

1) Could be VERY tight.
2) Any kind of a line outside, and you lose out.
3) You could easily be seated after 5:20pm.
4) For a 5:00 ADR, get there by 4:40pm.

I'd say very likely, provided you are at the podium by 5:00, but I would get there even a little earlier if possible.

We make a lot of early dinner ADRs and I can't remember an instance where we waited more than 15 minutes after our time.

Possibly..But I will tell you both times I had a 5pm adr, I got seated almost 40 mins PAST adr time and missed Remy.

Thanks! We will get there a little early. I only saw the movie for the first time a couple of weeks ago with my ds10 and fell in luv! My husband took both boys years ago to a movie b-day party when it was out in the theatre. Ds10 and I would love to see him....DH and ds12 couldn't give a rats butt..LOL...I'm sure if he did come out they would both have a big smile! I'm looking forward to eating there, but Remy would put it over the top!

I only said that because Bistro has dinner hours starting at 5:30. I didn't see when chefs dinner hours started. Sorry!

Definitely get there no later than 4:45 because the 5:20 circuit is the last of the day so if you miss him, you miss him. You must be seated when he comes to the table. If you're in the bathroom or in the process of being seated at that time he won't come back.

Also, he's a sophisticated audio animatronic figure that could break down unexpectedly so don't promise your kids he'll be there. Instead it is better to let it be a surprise.

I have an ADR for 12 is that the time they open? I was planing on showing up around 11:45.

Yes, they open at 12. I also have a reservation for 12 at Chefs and am planning on getting there around 11:45 to make sure we see Remy. :)
