Does rain close Disneyland??

We were in WDW and I wore my golf rain outfit and my wife wore a poncho. She was so mad at me. The golf rain outfits are awesome. They breathe and they have zippers to open and close vents. They also have zippers in the bottoms of the legs to help put on and take off easily over shoes. Plus, they don't look too bad either. My wife now owns a golf rain outfit and she doesn't even golf.

Those are the BEST. I've also bought a pair of Frogg Toggs before and used those when I knew it was going to rain a lot. Same idea. You can find them on-line and they back up pretty small. (http://www.froggtoggs.com/)

I've been in DL when lightening closed down most of the rides. I'm not sure if it's because the queues were outside, standing in the rain and lightening, but Pirates, HM, closed. We ended up taking an early break. Then the storm moved and and we went back to the park. Thankfully lightening usually passes by quickly.

I've been at WDW in the rain and on some rides we were asked to take our ponchos off. I guess that's to keep the ride cars and seats dry. Not sure how great it works when you're carrying a dripping wet poncho onto the ride.
