Does point shuffling drive anyone else mad???

For our July trip, we are staying one night across from Seaworld, then 7 nights at the BWV. I also want to visit the Tanque Verde Ranch, but we could only go during this same use year because of DH's work, or wait a whole extra year to go. If we go at Thanksgiving or Christmas, it means borrrowing. Don't want to go last week of Feb because that's the last week of our use year. Any cancelling would mean a loss of points. Can't go during April. DON"T want to go in the summer! Do I drop a night at BWV in July and pay cash at another onsite resort and bank those 73 points? Would still have to borrow but not so much. Do I cut back the nights at Tanque Verde, or pay cash for a night or two? Do I wait almost 2 years to go to Tanque Verde? Give up HH for the summer and use those points??? AArghhh!!! I have been tossing around so many ideas, I am driving myself nuts! Is this some sort of DVC syndrome I have, or am I being ridiculous? Do you all know exactly what to do with all of your points, or do you go through this every year?

LOL. Actually, that seems to be part of the fun of DVC for me! Of course, I might feel different in a few years.

What made it more maddening for me was MS 'losing' 270 of my points for many months only to have them pop back into my account by surprise.

Now I made a WOD reservation that I wish I could cancel.

You don't want to cancel your WOD reservation, you are going to have a very unique experience, I definitely think it's worth keeping... Let me know after your stay if you enjoyed it!!


As for us & point juggling LOL... I have endless sheets of paper here & there about what point should be where & used for what purpose... I drive MS a bit crazy too, because I am forever losing our current point allocations & having to call to get them every 3 or 4 months, which isn't bad, because we make reservations every 3 or 4 months LOL... If my DH had to keep track of this stuff it would drive him loony, for me it's part of the fun of DVC!!!
