Does Obama still smoke?

I just heard recently he does or did smoke which lead me to thinking if he is elected president is he going outside the White House to light up?

He was a smoker and then Michelle told him to quit when he wanted to enter the race. I don't know if he was successful or not. I believe Laura Bush is a smoker, but I don't think anyone has seen her light up. So regardless, I expect it to be something kept hidden from the eyes of the public.

I, for one, think a world leader should be entitled to enjoy his/her vices, as long as they aren't mind altering. Cigarettes, cigars, interns eek, whatever will keep the Prez happy and his/her mind clear will benefit the country, IMO.

I did not know Laura bush was a smoker. That explains those lines on her upper lip though. One can have them w/o smoking but I never knew this so it makes sense now.

I think trying to quit smoking while running for POTUS would be tough. Too much stress as it is.

It isnt like smoking is illegal, at least not yet. They still sell tobacco products. While I don't smoke, I really don't care what anyone else does, whether it be the POTUS or John Q. Public. I'd rather not have to smell it, but I don't care if they show photos of someone smoking.

Now a lack of a basic public speaking skill is a speech pattern? Do they not have speech courses at Harvard? Oh, wait, the teleprompted speechs are fine, it's the impromptu speaking he has a problem with. Can't wait to hear his umm-ing tonight. If you can't tell, it's a pet peeve of mine, whether it is BO or anyone else. His "speech pattern" is very dominant in his candid interviews.
