So getting soaked on Kali River Rapids would be a good idea in July?DOOM1001 said:I was there May 28 and 29, a sunday and monday. It wasn't even June yet and sunday's high was literally 96-97, with humidity the feel like temperature was definitely close to 110.The day started without a cloud in the sky which meant that the sun+ the oppressive heat+ the humidity+ no breeze made this the hottest day I've ever been at a Theme park.By 6pm clouds rolled in and cooled it off but by that time I was wiped out!! Monday was a lot better temperature wise and there was even some breeze. But some days can be ridiculous as to how hot it gets!!!

We hit 110 around here often enough "but it's a dry heat" . . . the humidity down there always kills me at anything over 85.

We usually visit in November and are going in August this year. I was expecting the low 90's in August, not feeling like 110! That would really suck the fine out of my free ddp.

In fact, I just looked at weather.com and at noon today...
In Indiana - 85, humidity 57%
In Florida - 87, humidity 57%

Yep, pretty much, but only from about mid-June through the end of August. And I don't think it's as constant as it is in Florida... we do get an occasional cold front come through that will cool things off for a couple of days.oxfordcircus said:Is it always that hot and humid in Indiana?
