Does free dining attract BIG crowds

I think if we would have gone a week or so sooner the crowds would have been lighter. We were there Sept. 21-27. I think we should have gone the 14-20. Oh well, lesson learned.

I went for free dining last year and this year, while there are more crowds then say before free dining like in the 1990"s, I don't think it was that awful busy. This year was absolutely dead quiet. No wait for Splash at 1130 am on a 90 deg humid day is unheard of, a 5 min wait at 130pm unprecedented. It was very HOt though, but we managed with plenty of pool time and rest time and still expereinced every major attraction mulitple times.Personally, I thought the crowds were lower this Sept then last December( when we usually liked to go)

I was just there for Free Dining last month and the crowds were the lowest I have ever seen them. We walked onto every ride we wnated to, expect for TSM, of course. We are planning on going back again next year during this time because the crowds were so great!!!

We were at Disney 9/20-9/27. I thought the crowd levels were great. We hardly ever waited in lines, the only exception was TSM. The crowds were definitely lower than when we went last November.
