Granted I'm not a world traveler, but I've never run across and "extra adult charge" anywhere else but the Disney resorts. I just noticed on another site that they say the Swan and Dolphin have an extra adult charge. And unlike Disney when I've booked at the Dolphin in the past they never asked how many adults. SO, if you've stayed there with more than two adults, were you charged for the extra? Did spg make any difference?

Yes, I was charged for an additional person 18 or older who happened to be DS (19). When I called to make the reservation, I was asked the names and ages in the family. I can't lie - DSs are 17 and 19. That led to the $25 a night extra charge. I am spg gold with a Starwood AMEX card. We did get a comp upgrade to CL. We were booked with the teacher rate.

I travel all over the Northeast (and MCO & TPA) and yes, the extra charge for more than 2 adults is everywhere.
