Does Disneyland offer VIP Tours?

I know that you can hire a VIP tour guide at Disney World for any of the theme parks --- pricey but an awesome experience with preferred parade seating, unlimited fast passes, etc. A couple of people over on the World Trip Report boards have reported great experiences

Does anyone know if you can book a similar experience at Disneyland?

Yes you can (we are doing one in 11 days time!!)

Like at WDW they organise your dinner seating for you, give you prefered seating for Fantasmic, fireworks, parades etc. However neither at WDW or DLR do they offer unlimited fastpass.

nor will they be able to front-line you to any ride. They will keep you company while you wait in line though.

Just a word of warning: Avoid VIP tour guide Ryan at all costs!

Thank you sooo much for the link! That is exactly what I was looking for. You will have to post about your trip adventures when you come back -- I'd love to know what you think of the VIP experience.

One of the main reasons I was thinking of booking a day or two with a VIP guide is that I am taking my 9 year old daughter (just the two of us) on her first DL trip (we have done the world but never the land) in June and I want to make sure that we have a great time. Since I've heard late June is packed, I though the VIP guide might really make a difference in our level of enjoyment.

Hope your trip is magical! Soo jealous that you will be there so soon!

Will the tour guides know if you have asked not to have a certain guide? I don't mind requesting not to have someone, but I don't want to seem rude!

Our large ladies' group had 3 different tour guides, and we heard the best, by far, was J.D. I would request him if I ever did a VIP tour again.

Do they allow you to request guides? I guess you could ask but there would be not guarantee.

Yes, you can request a tour guide. I requested Karen C. and she was great !! She greatly appreciated the fact that her name had gotten around as a great guide! As much as the tour costs now, I would not hesitate to let them know that you don't want a certain person.

Just thought I would let you know. I emailed to request JD or Karen C and JD no longer works for Disney. They have put in a request for Karen C for me though, but obviously it depends if she is available that day.

Yikes!!! Oh no I was going to request JD! Is Karen C the next best Tour Guide then or has anyone else heard of anyone else who is really good?
