Does decor matter to you?

I'm surprised how many people care about the decor. I couldn't care less. I'm not buying the place - just sleeping there and hanging out a bit. As long as it is clean and well kept, that's all that matters. What do you folks do when you stay in hotels and don't get to pick your decor?

I do agree with OP thought about shades. It is so annoying to spend all that money for a beautiful house only to get woken up at dawn every morning from the sun shining in the barely covered windows.
