We will be cruising the 23rd to 30th of October. Do they do anything onboard for Halloween? We will bring costumes if they do.

We went on the 7 day Halloween cruise last year. They did a costume parade after dinner and gave out prizes. (Don't remember what they were- nothing big)

The parade took a few hours, there were tons of people in costumes!! The big winners were the Haunted Mansion Couple, and the Mary Poppins Chimney Sweep Family... People are so creative.

My husband and I wore the costumes from the year before... I had made a Civil War Generals outfit for him (North, of course!) and a Civil War ladies dress (hoop skirt and everything!) for me. Because of the time between our late seating dinner and the parade, we had fomal pics done and then had dinner in costume! We made quite an impression in the dining room!

Fogot to add that earlier in the evening they had a kids costume parade and trick or treating.... The kids were soooo cute! Lot's of Princesses. The 2 brothers that stood out for me were dressed as... Captain Hook and a crocodile! Too cute!

We really had a good time....

PS- If you want to see pics of our costumes PM me and I'll send them to you... OR if someone can explain how to post a pic, I'll do that!

diz_princess you may want to check on Cruise Meet to see if, I believe there is a thread for your cruise.

I've sailed on the Magic for the past few year. I have organized T-or-T's for the children who's parents post on our Halloween thread. We visit only our own staterooms, it's been a great success better than what DCL has. This year we have so far 48 children participating in this event.

some examples of what happened last year aboard the Magic:

Trick-or-Treat Treasure Hunt 2:00pm to 3:00pm lobby atrium, deck 3 midship. All Goblins will meet and hunt for the treat.
They hunted around the ship for different t-or-t'ing spots. Once you found the spot, easy to do just follow the very large crowds, they were giving out 1 peice of candy or stickers. There was a costume contest for the children.

Then that evening they had an Adult Costume Contest started at 10:15pm lasted till about 12pm. Now this event is posted in the Daily Navigator as an adult contest but there are children participating in it with there families, doing some kind of family theme.

There are other things going on besided the costume events such as Ghoulish Family dance party and for adult only a Halloween Bash in one of the bars.

Check in your daily Navigator for events and times aboard the Wonder. I'm sure the events, not times, will be pretty much the
same as on the Magic in the past.
