Ok I am still floundering here about Cozumel. DH and DS were not impressed with the San Gervasio photos so I guess we will not be going there. Now I thought maybe that state park place that starts with a C , anyone know if they have a website?

that was a pretty neat site. Now I am thinking of going there too. oh there are so many decisions to be made!

Did you go on your own or do the cruise package?

We went on our own. Took a taxi, $10 each way. $10 per adult to get in, did not charge for kids 7 and 8. Got the taxi right at the dock and back at the entrance to the park. Went snorkling, and took the tour of the ruins (not real)but very pretty free but did use a tour guide so we gave him a tip. Walked around the lake and saw all the lizzards. Chairs, umbrellas, restroom, shower and changing facilities at no extra charge. Restaurant and bar available. Did not attend the shows, bird and sea lion? Everything was very clean. The beach is very nice, but like no other beach I have ever seen. No shore line, must go down steps and the water is deep. Our grandkids are great swimmers, but we made them wear vests because there is no place to rest and not an easy out, they just went swimming not snorkling. There is a raft to swim out to and you can take floats in. Equipment is rented there also. Anything else just let me know and I will try to answer.
