I know the passes are good as soon as you check in until you check out. So if I stay at one resort for 2 nights and then check out to go to another resort, are my passes no longer good?

If you pay for the package at both resorts you will be ok. If you have the package at the 1st resort and room only at the second you loose your UPH at midnight of checkout day.

P.S. if you do have the package for both resorts you are paying twice for UPH on check out day from 1st resort/check in day at 2nd resort.

You would have to make 3 reservations not to double pay

1st: 2 days w/pkg at 1st resort

2nd: 1 day room only at 2nd resort

3rd: balance of days w/pkg at 2nd resort.

1 more thing. If you buy your UPH separatly, not with a package deal, they will be good for the number of days you bought and if you don't use them all the unused days can be used whenever you go back to WDW.

The UPH that comes with the package is called length of stay and expires when you check out.

This info changes everything!!! My plans wil have to change completely.....

I am sorry, but the above information is not correct. UPH means Ultimate Park Hopper. These are only available to buy with a room reservation at a Disney resort. And they do expire on the day you check out. Always!! You cannot save days for later.

Ulitmate Park Hoppers (UPH) allow you to enter ANY Disney facility during your stay.... Magic Kingdom, Epcot, the Disney Studios, Animal Kingdom, Pleasure Island, both water parks, The Wide World of Sports, and Disney Quest. You can visit any of those facilities as often as you want and hop between as much as you want.

Park Hopper Plusses that can be bought at the Disney Store, Walt Disney World, or other retailers allow you to hop between the major parks as often as you like for the number of days that you purchase. They also allow a limited number of visits to the water parks, Wide World of Sports, or Pleasure Island. They do not allow you to enter Disney Quest. Any unused days on Park Hoppers can be saved.

LadyLt is correct. There's also a better way to keep from double paying on the resort transfer day. You can have days shaved off the check-in or check-out day. Let's assume that you're spending 3 nights at Resort A and then 3 nights at Resort B. Say you check in on Sunday. You can buy a 3 night/4 day UPH pass at Resort A. It would be good for Sunday thru Wednesday. Wednesday is your resort switch day. When you check into Resort B, tell them you want to buy a 3 night/3 day UPH pass that excludes your check-in day. The new passes would be good from Thursday thru your check-out day from Resort B on Saturday.

And as stated... unused days on UPH passes go "poof" after your check-out day.

And Geoff is right. But remember that you would need to buy your UPH for the second resort at the check in desk. You can only "shave off" the arrival or departure date at the resort. If you order and pay for your UPH through CRO or WDTC, this cannot be done. So it is better to reserve room only (at least for the second resort) and buy UPH at the resort.

No, it's really fairly simple. When you make the room reservations, don't buy the UPH's at the same time. Buy them at check-in. When you check into the first resort, but UPH's for your length of stay at that resort (that'll include check-in and out days). When you check into the second resort, tell them you want UPH's, but with the first day deleted off of them. That's it.

I'm going to move this to our resorts board for you.
