Does BWV have another room view besides standard?

There are three "views" at BWV - standard is the lowest points and usually is a view of the parking lot. Garden or pool view is the next level and usually is a view of the various trees and gardens and possibly of the pools. The highest level (most points) is the Boardwalk view which is a view of the boardwalk and across Crescent lake.

If you're booking a cash reservation through Disney, standard in the only option. If using your own points or renting points there is Standard, Garden/Pool, or Preferred view.

Basically, what it means is that if you book via Disney, view is not a bookable category at BWV. You get whatever is left after points reservations.

The good news is that this is usually Pool/Garden view in practice.

When using dvc to book, standard view is the lowest point usage. This view will be on the side of the bldg that faces the bus stop and driveway. The preferred view will be of waterways, gardens, pools and a few villas gave a view if the Village Green. Then there is a boardwalk view....these use the same number of points as the preferred view villas do. They look out over the boardwalk. But....the standard and boardwalk views are only bookable when using points.
If you book, directly thru Disney, and pay cash, you can book only a preferred view....landscaping/pools/waterways.
