Yes, but makes me really tired.
So,
A few years ago I broke down and purchase a "Relief Band"
which were created for Pilots.
It is the best purchase that I've ever made.
I have since purchased 2 additional bands, one for each person
in my family because they tried mine and loved it= because it works.
My D-Sis also suffers from Motion sickness and she also tried mine
and loved it.
Besides working for motion sickness it also is great for Migraines
or very bad headaches, indigestion (from overeating).
Absolutely no side affects, no drowsiness at all.
Can be used only when you need it and works even after you start
to feel the motion sickness coming on.
I purchased mine on Ebay, they are a little expensive but I will
never have to buy any type of motion sickness meds ever again.
They are great to wear for Airplanes, cruises, and any roller coaster.
I used it last trip and it was the 1st trip that I was able to ride
everything with my DS and was not the DUD MOM sitting on the sides
waiting.
There is a New one up on Ebay right now item#: 110299387387 (Free shipping)
It may not be up for long-- They go fast--it has a reasonable Buy Now price on it and Free shipping.
Here is more information that I found online about Relief Bands:
ReliefBand(R) Explorer device is a watch-like device worn on the ventral side of the wrist for use in the treatment of nausea and vomiting due to pregnancy, postoperative nausea, chemotherapy, and motion sickness. When activated, the device emits a low-level electrical current across two small electrodes on its underside. The ReliefBand(R) device is the first patented, commercially available Nausea-Vomiting device to reach the clinical marketplace.
Now with the ReliefBand(R) device, you have more opportunity to enjoy flying, boating, amusement park rides and other types of travel and entertainment without having motion sickness spoil your good time.
The non-prescription ReliefBand(R) device is unlike anything else sold for motion sickness. It offers numerous advantages. First, it is Drug Free. Because it is not a drug, you won't have the headache, drowsiness, dizziness or other side effects typical of most medicinal remedies on the market. Also, instead of having to take something several hours ahead of time, the ReliefBand can be used any time, even after nausea symptoms start. Second, there are no restrictions on consumption of food, beverages or medications with the use of ReliefBand. And finally, unlike medicines, pressure bands, and other passive remedies, with the ReliefBand device you control the level and duration of relief. You can actually feel it helping to control your motion sickness.
Worn like a bracelet or a watch, the ReliefBand device uses gentle electrical signals to stimulate a specific nerve in the underside of the wrist. There are five levels of stimulation; adjust the dial to the highest level that feels comfortable. By stimulating the body's nervous system in this fashion, the ReliefBand can be used to relieve the nausea and vomiting symptoms associated with motion sickness.
Features:
· Rotary dial adjusts output to one of five power settings.
· Light indicates operation and low battery condition.
Do not use if wearing cardiac pacemaker.
The unlimited use Reusable ReliefBand operates for approximately 140 hours at power level 2 before you need to change the batteries. Then it's just a matter of picking up two 3V lithium batteries (CR2025) at your local drug store or where camera batteries are sold. The Reusable unit ensures that protection from motion sickness is always as close as your flight bag.
