Does Bonine work for motion sickness on thrill rides?

I used Bonine on our last trip to WDW and our day at Universal for the Harry Potter rides and did not have a bit of motion sickness or discomfort.

I use Bonine all of the time and it works wonders! However, I take it a differently than the directions state. I take it the day before I need it as well as on the days I need it. I take one in the morning and one at night (about 12 hours apart). I do not have any side effects- no drowiness or anything. I have also used ginger candy, but that only takes care of nausea. It won't help with any kind of dizziness or vertigo.
I love it! It effects everyone differently. My hubby can't take it bc it makes him dizzy and lightheaded (but it keeps him from getting sick!). I'd say try it on a day when you have nothing gong on just to see how it makes you feel.

We are at Disney now. My friend (who has made many trips with me) brought along a small bottle of something called "motion ease". This friend has had to sit out all the thril rides in the past. This small bottle of liquid which she rubs a drop behind each ear and then rubs the leftovers over her temples, has saved her trip. She has ridden everything with her grandchildren without getting the icky head that she always used to get. It has been a godsend for her. She said she got hers at Walmart. I'm thinking it is like an essential oil. Little smelly but works wonders. She starts 30 min before the first coaster and repeats about every 30 min.
