I love the show, but I don't understand that Becca girl...Zach's friend. What is she doing and why is she working against Peter's campaign? She's a high school kid, how and why is she so involved in the State Attorney General's race?

We love the show as well, but haven't watched tonight's episode yet.

The Becca thing confuses me as well. Is it as simple as just a ploy to get Zach's attention ? It must go deeper than that. Possibly some info we haven't been told about as of yet.

I'm *still* confused as to why Kalinda took a baseball bat to Blake's car ! Is there something I missed in that ?

I think it's the best "new" show on 'regular' TV by a long shot. Certainly the best drama. I love how each episode "hits the ground running" and you have to pay attention to every scene. Television you actually have to think about ! What a concept ! (:thumbsup2)

I also love the showdown that's building between Will and Diane. Christine Baranski is *such* a brilliant actress. It's impossible to take your eyes off her when she's on the screen - the sign of a true talent.

I don't trust Will one bit. I'm not sure why the emphasis on all the basketball games, except to maybe imply that the "boys club" is very much alive and Diane has every reason to stab him in the back before he gets a chance to do the same.

(As I said, I haven't seen tonight's epi yet...)

My only wish is that they would make more use of Alicia's mom. She steals every scene she's in, and that's no small accomplishment with such a huge cast. They can only fit in so much per episode - I wish it were 90 min long and on HBO, so it could be a tad more, um, graphic than it can be on CBS.

And of course, there's Alan Cumming. Who can forget one his first scenes in Alicia's kitchen:

"What are you doing ? "

"I lowering my trousers so that you may kiss my....." ;)

Classic stuff. :goodvibes

Tonight's episode...sooooooooo good! :thumbsup2 Especially if you are an Alan Cumming fan. I love watching him, he could have his own show as Eli. Smackdown with that Becca girl. Once you watch you will understand why I don't understand her.

I don't trust Will either. What in the world does Alicia see in him? :confused3

LOVE Christine Baranski, interesting with her and Will tonight. Can't wait to see what happens with their plan against new partner what's his name.

You really do have to watch every scene. Many weeks I end up watch twice to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I know why Kalinda bashed Blake's car with the baseball bat. I'm pretty she just figured out he was investigating her. I believe she realized he had been in her apartment? I think.

I watch.

The Eli / Becca scene was great. I think Becca is a "mean girl" with the agenda coming from an adult. Maybe.

I like how Alicia is very slowly examining her feelings and perhaps warming to her husband. Looks like she left the door open for him last night without actually saying anything.

Well I didn't watch last nights episode so maybe there is stuff I'm missing but it was my understanding that she was a volunteer on the campaign. I know where I live for part of your government grade (senior social studies) you are required to volunteer as part of a campaign for at least 10-20 hours. Besides that I think she just causes trouble being friends with Zach (like making a fake facebook of the son of the other candidate). But it sounds like more possibly went on last night so :confused3

Wonderful show!!

I always she was just causing trouble to get Zacks attention... But as some PP's suggested, maybe there is something bigger at play?!?

I think the Grandma is Peter's mom not Alecia's... but yes - she is great...

Cool discussion!
