Does Anyone Want a Stroller Aug. 27 or after???

Hi,

Heading down to Disney tomorrow. We're bringing our trusty McClaren stroller for DS as a "just in case". This is definitely the last trip of any type we will need this stroller and DS is our only child. There is no need for us to lug stroller back home at end of trip so I was thinking I'd just leave it with front desk for any guest who may need it or then I thought maybe someone on the Disboards can use it.

We are staying at BWV and our check out day is Tues. Aug. 27. As I said it's a McClaren single folding stroller. It has a small mesh basket on bottom and a pocket on back of area that covers head. This will be it's 7th trip to Disney and it has faired us very well for us. It can hold up to 50-60 lbs and DS is 50" (maybe a bit more) and he fits fine but needs to keep feet on foot rest. It is in good condition and does show some wear. There is black tape over a small hole in mesh basket and the harness and seat belt are not there as DS stopped using them a few years back. It will be perfect for a 4 or 5 year old.

If anyone thinks they can use it while at Disney, please let me know and I will leave it with BWV front desk / bell service with instructions that it will be picked up by........ on ............. (you fill in the blanks).

When finished using it you can either throw it out, leave it at Disney for someone else or take it home...I just don't like wasting or throwing out something that someone else may need.

I leave very early tomorrow morning so if you're interested please let me know ASAP. Sorry for late notice, but the light bulb just went off about this as I was getting last minute things together.

I'm in a similar situation. Last stroller trip. We arrive on the 26th, but would hold off using a stroller for a day if it meant not having to add a stroller to the car for the trip down and back. Let me know if its still available and ill send you my info. Thanks!

I just want to say that this is awesome.

I did something similar with a balloon (brought it to the front desk and told the CM to give it to the next kid that comes up), but those stinking things are only $15, a stroller is expensive.

It is still available. If you want to PM your info I will leave it at BWV for you first thing in the morning 8/27. If you want to leave a number I can text you exact info when I leave it. I am assuming I will be able to leave it with bell services.

I was thinking of doing this exact same thing. We have one I'd prefer to leave behind also. We are leaving AKV Thurs am 8/29. Would bè glad to pass it along Weds night 8/28 or 8/29 am or leave for someone. Ours is in decent condition and it is easy to maneuver and fold. Somewhere in quality between an umbrella stroller and a regular stroller. Good basket storage, cup holders and canopy. I too cut out the straps/ buckle. DN is 6 and this will be her last trip using it.
