Does Anyone Take Lipitor for Colesteral?

My blood pressure's high and my colesteral is high!!

I'm not overweight and I didn't think I ate THAT bad!!!!

So, I'm now on blood pressure medication and colesteral medicine.

Anyone else?? Have you had successful results???

I take Lipitor for cholesteral and Toprol for high blood pressure. I have had lots of sucess with both.

Family history has alot to do with what ailments you can end up with! In my early 20's (early 40's now) I was diagnosed with high cholesteral. Even though I was very slim, ate very healthy and worked out twice a day!

take zocor for cholesterol......in the first six weeks .....my cholesterol went down over a hundred points and made both the doctor and myself very happy......going for a recheck in two weeks on my BP...alot of stress has made it go up up up.....my family has the high cholesterol problem......so meds were on the horizon for me anyways....and I eat good

I've taken Lipitor and Inhibace (for high blood pressure) for the past 6 years with good results. I'm also diabetic and these other conditions are quite usual with diabetics.

I have been taking Lipitor for over two years now with great results. Prior to that I was taking Baycol for 1 year. That one landed me in the hospital for 4 days. One week later it was pulled off the market.

Lipitor for cholesteral and Monopril for the high BP. Has been working well as long as I don't get crazy and give it real challenge.

Zocor here and good results. I do understand it is more hereditary than diet, though diet is important. Exercise is also very important, an area I lack in. Good luck, Patty.

Mine was just a bit high two months ago so my doctor put me on Lipitor. I had to quit taking it after a week. I had a hard time breathing and also had severe cramps in my intestines. Those are rare side effects, lucky me. Right now I'm trying fish oil capsules since mine wasn't very high.
