Does anyone own Motorola FV100 two way radios?

We have used the large red Mickey walkie talkies on our last few WDW visits, but I saw these little ones at Target for about 15-18. The package says they cover up to 4 miles (unobstructed). I bought these because I was thrilled about the size, but can't find any reviews on them. We use them if we separate in the parks, or if DH goes to the food court and we stay in the room. He radios us with the daily choices in the food court . I forget what distance the Mickey ones covered, but I bought those years ago, so I'm figured these should be at least a little better .
