does anyone own black diamond stud earrings?

DH wants to get a nice gift for DD, and she wears a lot of black. She recently had her ears pierced ( again) and wears studs in those holes. We thought about black diamonds, like 1/3 to 1/2 k in white gold, and I have seen them online for abut $60 on up. I am just wondering how dull they look..it seems like an oxymoron almost, as diamond quality s judged on clarity lol...not how black they are. But, sh'e going on 19, trendy stone , will just leave them in her ears...so looking for any opinions a/o jewelers they can recommend. I checked overstock , but theirs are pretty tiny for our price range, the NY jewelers are more accomodating. but we are in Illinois, so can't go check those out in person.

I am a colored diamond fan and IMO what they call black diamonds are not that pretty on. They are usually very bad quality diamond and just look like plastic to me. The black diamonds that my jeweler showed me were not solid black like you see now and definitely not included (full of flaws). I would rather have onyx or something like that than a black diamond.
