Does anyone out there want to be my Dis Friend? 3 PTRs and 1 1/2 TRs in Progress!

Hi! Sorry I've been MIA...I hate when life gets in the way of the Dis ;)

Just wanted to pop in to say congrats on the house...that's awesome!

Have a safe trip down and I'll keep an eye out for you at the GF on Thursday for breakfast :goodvibes

Thanks! I'll be the one wearing the blue "One World, One Love, One Mouse" shirt and my LGMH! I hope you have a safe trip as well!:santa:

Lots of exciting news! Congrats on the house!!! That's great that you'll be hanging out with an Imagineer. Such fun!

Amanda

Thank You! I'm very excited to get to spend time with Chris again.

Wow that would be really neat -- like having your own private behind the scenes tour! I've heard Winnie the Pooh is fantastic after the refurb and I can't wait to see it! Glad you could fit him into most of your plans.

Yea, I was a little nervous at first but luckily it worked out for the best! Hopefully, he'll be with us the day we meet up at AK! He's so fun to talk to about Disney!

Great news about your Imagineer friend being there!!

We love all the special events we have been to. MNSSHP fireworks and parade are amazing, but we have a special place in our heart for MVMCP, this will be our 4th year in a row going to it :goodvibes.

I love the MNSSHP parade and fireworks as well! But, I cannot wait to experience MVMCP for the first time! Only three more days till the party!

3 Days till Disney Countdown!

Epcot Holidays Around the World/Candlelight Processional

I'm so excited to spend extra time in the World Showcase this year visiting the different "Santas". I'm most excited about La Befana in the Italy pavilion. I just like the story.

And, I CANNOT wait to see the Candlelight Processional.

I just think the whole experience is going to be breathtaking.

I'm finishing up my Passports tomorrow so I'll post pictures as soon as I'm done.

So, which pavilion is your favorite in Epcot? I love the Living Seas in Future World and Norway in the World Showcase (though Germany is a close second)!

2 Days till Disney Countdown!

I'm just want to take our time walking through the street slowly to take it all in. This is definitely something I don't want to rush through. I feel like it's going to just be so overly amazing.

I'm sure I won't get to stop in, so I'll say it now...have a great trip! I'm sure you will have a fantastic time and I can't wait to read about it when you get back!

I'm loving your countdowns. One of these years I'll get there for Christmas.

Thank you! We leave at 6:15am tomorrow! I'll try and get a TR started as quickly as possible when I get home! Hope you stick around for it!

Thanks! That's what we kept saying, one of these times.. but it just never worked out... My mom and I both said that we're even more excited for this trips then our other ones. I think going during the holidays is going to bring a whole new magic to the parks!

Well, we've finally reached that time. 1 day till Disney Countdown!

#1 Castle Dream Lights

Cinderella_Castle_Dream_Lights_MVMCP1-200x300.jpg

Is this not one of the prettiest things you've ever seen? I watched the HGTV Disney Holidays special with David Bromstad last night, and I actually got goosbumps during that part about the Castle Dream Lights. It just brings so much more magic and I can't wait to experience it.

So, what's the most magical thing you've seen at WDW?

Well, the time has arrived for us to say goodbye. I'm leaving work at 4pm today and driving an hour and a half towards home. I'm meeting my mom to get a pedicure so our toes will look cute for the trip (not that anyone can see them since we wear tennis shoes) then we'll head home. I'll help my mom finish her last minute packing, I have to put some final touches on our Epcot Passports then it's off to bed. We have to leave the house at 3:45am, drop the car off at 4:30am, shuttle to the airport and our flight takes off at 6:15am. We should be in sunny Florida by 8:45am!

If anyone is going to be there at the same time, let me know so we can possibly meet up!

Now, as excited as I am to get to Disney I have to say... right now, right before we leave, is one of my favorite times. It's like Winnie the Pooh once said "Eating honey was a very good thing to do, but there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called." I just love this feeling right now, the feeling of being excited to go and knowing you have the WHOLE trip in front of you. Once you get there, you're having so much fun the time just seems to fly by, so I'm going to enjoy the moment right now to look forward to having everything in front of me.

Have a wonderful week everyone and I will talk to you all when I get back! :santa:

TTFN and See Ya Real Soon!

You made me cry!!!! Ok so a tear or 2 but still. You are so right the moments before the trip are so awesome. COuld you share your passport pics with me, so I have an idea of what I could make for my older 2 kids for Epcot.

I am so excited for you, I hope your trip goes perfect. I cannot wait to read your trip report when you return.

Well, we're home. We had so much fun but the trip consisted of several "bumps" along the way. In fact, I'm pretty sure we had more of Murphy's Law than Pixie Dust on our side. However, it was an amazing trip and Christmas at Disney brings a whole new magic. I would love to go again at this time of year! DBF and I will be leaving for Montana Friday morning so I have to pack again tonight for that but I'm hoping to get a TR started ASAP so I can share everything with all of you. I am sad that the trip went by so quickly but in happier news...

One Month Wiggle for my Half Marathon trip!!! :cool1::banana::yay:

Welcome home! At least your TR won't be boring! I can't wait to read it!

I hope my TR won't be boring as the trip was far from it.. nothing quite went to plan so I'm excited to share it with all of you and hear all your comments!

Welcome back. I can't wait to hear all about it.

Thanks!

Welcome back!! Demetri says hello to the "lady I rode the Yeti ride with"

Thanks, you too! Tell Demetri I say hello, he was just too cute and funny!

Welcome back; can't wait to hear about the trip.

Thanks!

Welcome home! :cool1:

Thank You!

Welcome home, I can't wait to hear all about your trip and see lots of pics (hint hint)

Thanks! I'm going to try to get started on a TR asap!

Hello DISers! I'm sorry I have been MIA lately. DBF and I left last Friday for Trip #2 to Montana and well, let's just say it wasn't at all the trip we had planned. We still had a good time but there were some low points as well. We ended up coming home a day later than expected and it wasn't because we were having so much fun.

I am in the process of uploading all of my photos and as soon as I'm finished I am going to get started on a TR for both trips.

P.S. I need some help... on the fifth night of our trip, I handed my Photopass card to one of the photographers and they handed me back a new one instead of the one I'd been using all week. I took a picture of the code on the back of my card so as soon as I find the picture (I have to sort through over 1,000 to find it) I should be able to get them. However, for some reason I can't find that picture or whatever, is there anyway to find the rest of my pictures? I'd be devastated if they were lost forever....

Oh nuts! We thought we'd lost our Photopass card too and a CM told us if we knew when and where just one picture was taken and could find it, they could find them all. She told us what to do while we were still in the park but I'm sure the website would have more info on what to do once home. Good luck, I hope you retrieve them OK.
