Alfredo de Roma's? I don't hear many good things about this place. we love Italian food & the pictures & menu look good.

What is the general consensus on dining there? Thanks :confused3

We ate there a few years ago. The food was good, but the waiters there were GORGEOUS!!!!!! I don't really remember the food too well, but the waiters, oh, yes!!! :thumbsup2

I agree, the waiters are gorgeous!! The food is very good but rich, so rich we can never finish it all...the desert platter is amazing! If the weather is nice try to sit outside, it is cramped on the inside

Hope you meant Boma's, To me it's the best buffet in Disney. I'll be there on the 26th of this month. Cann't wait.

We ate at Alfredo's in Dec., and it was my husbands favorite meal. We love Italian food. Our waiter was wonderful! He was a very attentive older man. If you like wine, they can make some great recommendations. I would suggest giving it a try.

We're Italian and are picky about our Italian food. That being said, I thought Alfredo's was good, but DH says it's a "must" for him. He loves the Alfredo sauce and he also enjoyed the lasagna and the fried calamari.

Big thumbs up for Alfredos from myself. Generous portions of tasty food - the experience was fairly authentic to my experience of italian restaurants in Rome, down to the smell. Yes, the waiters were Very attractive :thumbsup2 - and my wait staff (the water and busboy) were also friendly, polite, genuinely interested in my dining experience - attentive, gave suggestions, checked multiple times to make sure all was fine, kept my glass filled quicker than I could drink from it and all those things you Wish wait staff were like everywhere. People do tend to either like or not like the restaurant - some don't enjoy the scent of the restaurant, or the (authentic) atmosphere of very close together tables. I would have no hesitation to make a repeat visit to Alfredos myself :)

We had a great time there last August. The food was pretty good (and I am not even a fan of alfredo sauce- I did take a taste of my friend's and it was very good). The lasagna was great and the deserts amazing (I had the tiramisu..yum).
I will third the fact that the waiters are gorgeous. And since we were three young ladies together we got A LOT of attention. And the service was amazing. Never even had to ask for anything to drink since at any time we had atleast 5 drinks on our table for each of us.

We had never eaten there because I had read so much negative feedback in past years. We ducked in there during a violent thunderstorm just to get out of the weather and it was around 11:30 and asked how long of a wait and were told 10-15 mins so we decided to give it a try.
We were very pleasantly surprised by our experience. The food was quite good!
In fact as I think back to that trip it was definately one of the unplanned GOOD things that made the trip special. :thumbsup2

We love Alfredo's. The servers are always so friendly and attentive. I love the salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing and Pasta e Fagioli (a really thick soup). The pasta e fagioli was sooo delicious and filling. The fettucine alfredo is really good too.
Oh and did I mention the extremely attractive waiters... I don't think I've ever seen so many attractive men in one room in my entire life. :lovestruc :rotfl: Ok..well maybe at Les Chefs de France.. :rotfl2:

Anyway, the food is really good and I recommend giving it a try. :thumbsup2
