I should be getting it in the mail from netflicks tomarrow. It didn't get much of a buzz.

What did people think?

It doesn't look bad.

I just mailed it back to Netflix today. It wasn't very good. Honestly, I don't really see how kids would like it all that much. Not much humor and it seemed like it would go "over their head" -- the movie being about pigeons carrying messages during WWII and all.

It just didn't seem very kid-friendly. That being said, I don't have kids, and the flick didn't do much for me either. The animation was just so-so and there really wasn't any story. But, Ricky Gervais is a voice and "The Office" (British version) is one of my favorite shows. He was by far the best part of the flick.

The RyMickey Rating: C-/D+

It was okay... just okay. I got pretty bored about halfway through the movie. My 7 year old DD got really antsy at about the 1 hour mark- usually she loves being at the movie theater. I think it was a bit too "British WWII History Lesson" for us- also, the pigeon characters were really hard to tell apart. They didn't really make their faces expressive. I did like the German Falcon character, though- I believe Tim Curry voiced him.

I wouldn't buy it on DVD- seeing it once was enough for us. Alright, but DEFINITELY not a keeper!
