Does anyone like Stitch's Great Escape?

I personally do not like it... however, my boys DH and DS LOVE it!! They talked me into going on it this last time and it was just not really my type of thing, but my son laughed a ton.

I think you're taking a light hearted discussion about a much maligned attraction a bit too seriously. It's not lame because it's based on a cartoon character (that'd make most of the park an issue I guess), it's the general execution. I know it's supposed to be a chilli dog, but it smells like Doritos to me. Smell is subjective, and if this thread is anything to go by - ride preferences are subjective too

OK, I can accept that, however, none of us live in a vacuum. People looking for advise come to these boards and do not really know what is going on. You say something, even if it is as insignificant as the difference between chili dog and Doritos and you are implanting an incorrect image. You are also implanting an incorrect pre-conceived notion that it is just a bad attraction, which as you say is subjective, but, it is not subjective if you are trying to learn something and what you are getting is a sarcastic, unexplained statement that obviously is a negative message. Let people decide for themselves what is good or what is bad. You can express it by stating that it is your opinion and if you are injecting some levity, then let them know that. People cannot read minds via the internet.

DH and I tried Stitch for the first time this year and I don't think we'd do it again. It was dark, uncomfortable, and the smell was gross.

I have a 4 and 6 yr old- I wouldn't take either of them on it- they both love Stitch but it's very dark for an extended period of time and I think they'd be scared.

Love these responses! The 4-year-old and I have lunch ADR at CRT, so maybe DH and boys will try it while we're at lunch.

I think that is a great idea! We love it and do it every time.

Wish it was still Alien Encounter so I can ride it now as an adult and see why I was so terrified of it as a child.

Me too. I was about 18 or 19 when I rode it last as that, and all I can remember was that it was the scariest thing ever!

Nope .. in fact i hate it. I miss Alien Encounter.. yes the ride was to scary and at the wrong park ( Should of been at Hollywood Studios)

I'm in the minority but I think ALL of tomorrowland save SM needs to go. The entire area needs a clean reboot.
