if people only dress in DISNEY costumes for the MTOT? or any kind of costume? i know its best to dress as a disney character;) but i was just wondering if there are people who just go as other things...my older bro wants to go as a ninja turtle lol and there really arent any cute disney costumes for an 18 month old boy :( many for girls, but not so much boys. i was originally going to have my son be mike wazowski, but they only sell it in size 6. boo.
thanks!

I've seen many adults dress as non-Disney things, so I'm sure no one will get mad and dogpile on your bro. ;)

I would think any costume would be fun, not just Disney themed ones. Although we all are going Disney-style. :goodvibes

Is it safe to assume that the majority of people, young and old, dress up period? Dh is not a big "dress up" person but is doing it to more or less humor me and threatened me with a wardrobe change faster than Clark Kent if he didnt see many others dressed up.

Princess....I know Old navy just got out their Halloween costumes...theres a super cute Pirate one that looks pretty adorable too! Im going to make ds costume this year......he's going as Dopey. ;)

im thinking now of going as Hermione and DH as Harry Potter lol we'll see...
and thanks! im gonna go look now to see the costumes online at old navy...its hard to find one for my son b/c he wont keep anything on his head! he was gonna be mickey, but he wouldnt leave the head piece on lol i wish i could make his costume :( i made a promise to myself to learn to sew this year so for next halloween i can make all our costumes! dopey is a great idea!! your ds is going to be absoloutly adorable!!
thanks again!

Im in serious considerations going as marilyn monroe in the diamonds r a girls best friend dress.

I am haveing the same problem your are princess I can't decide what to do. I want to do a WOW factor type costume. I seriously am torn between Alice in wonderland cause I have seen a really cute one although it is not as lng as hers in the movie no biggie, but you do have to watch them cause I have seen some really woha way to short ones, or Marilyn Monroe in her pink diamonds dress. HELP ANYONE!!!!!!! I have been back in my home state due to a VERY serious, and upsetting health issue with family, so I am just now gettting back to the boards, and am WAY behind even thinking what to be help is greatly appriciated.

i saw it..its sooo cute! im also thinking of getting it for my son :) its adorable!!! and perfect for boys our son's age;)

what size are you going to get your son? I didn't know if I should go with 12-24 months or 2t/3t. He usually wears 2t but I was thinking it might be too big because it is 2t-3t. Hopefully one of them fits him!

oh i have that same problem...i have noooo idea  hes so tall and thin, so i think 2t would be too baggy, and 24 months would be too short. i always have this problem with him lol do they have the costumes in the store? if they do, ill go try them on him and see what fits best, and let you know how the fit is:) . normally with clothes, i would get the bigger of the two, like 2t b/c he would grow into it, but for a costume he is going to wear only this month and never again, if the 24 months fits perfect, then thats what ill probably get:goodvibes

I think they have some costumes in the store but that one say it is an oldnavy.com exclusive so I guess they wouldn't have that one in the store. I know I think 2t is going to be too baggy too and 12-24 months might be too small. My mom thinks I should go for the 12-24 months but everyone else says go bigger lol. I don't know, I cant wait to get them though!

OKay I am joining! I to don't know what to dress up as! :confused3 I was Tinkerbell last year for a Halloween party but I was about 15 pounds lighter...popcorn::

So I have no clue and I want to dress up because if I don't and I see a bunch of people (adults) dressed up I am gonna be mad that I didn't dress up. As well as I have now convinced DH to dress up :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I am not dressing up. I wanted to but my boyfriend doesn't want to so I decided I wont either and just let our son dress up. I hope we aren't the only ones not dressed up! We did buy matching jack skellington shirts though :woohoo:
