I have seen this specifc WDW bus for sale on Ebay and I want to bid on it, however my Dad says with the shipping and etc it's to expensive. When I was at WDW I looked for it and asked about it but the Cast Members never heard of it. Anyway, if anyone has info of where they were sold and etc I would appreciate it.

Sorry about the edit, but direct links to ebay auctions are not allowed. If you want people to contact you and you can give more information directly that would be great.

Thanks!

Since the link was not allowed to be posted, (btw sorry about that) the seller lists the description of the bus as Disney Transport Low Floor Bus 1:50 Scale. Also here is the picture of the bus which I am referring to.

You can list the auction number as long as it is not a link and not YOUR auction.

Good luck in your search. Looks like a pretty cool piece.

Did a little checking on this item as I had never seen one this size before. It is not a real item. It is custom done by a company or person. While it is not offical it is pretty cool but don't get it thinking Disney put it out. Looks like they use Road Champ die cast scale replicas and custom paint them.

Thanks for that info. :thumbsup2

From what I see, this is a business that does custom painted model vehicles. I don't know if they have Disney approval, but I would think they do since it seems to be a legitimate business.

I never noticed the new buses on property have those huge fuel tanks on the roof- I'll have to look for that!

If the model bus is 1/150 scale, how many inches long would that be?

If they ever offer the new Disney Cruise Line bus, I'd buy one. The Van Hool coaches get the graphics put on right in Oakland, just a few minutes from our house. I saw them all being prepared everyday I went to work.

I am thinking it woule be large. Like the tonka trucks I had when I was a kid. I sent the seller an email to see if it is "Official".

I would think the Disney Cruise bus would look great.... Hmmm

The buses look really cool. I went to the person's website to check out some of the other stuff and it is great. They do custom painting of the buses.

Duh....

Sorry about my mistake! After further review... the Disney Bus on the web site is 1:50 scale, not 1/150 as I mentioned above. After looking at some of the descriptions of the vehicles, the site states that they are about 10" long! That's 3 1/2" longer than the Matchbox annual bus sold every year at the parks!

At 10 inches and 1:50 scale, in model railroading terms, that is close to "O" gauge- which is 1:48, just a tiny bit smaller scale.

So, after rereading the info on the site...

I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!

I'll let you know what I think of my new bus once I get it...

DH and I were dining at Olivia's (OKW) last night and had a window table.
We saw several WDW buses go by.
None we saw had a top as shown in the photo.
The closest was one which had a little bit of a raised middle portion for an A/C unit.

I have been on those buses shown in the photo, so I can say WDW does have them and you must have just not seen them last night.

Not exactly like the type bus the seller using, but it's close. I have bought several buses from this seller, he is reliable. I first bought a WDW bus which is like more of the older buses at WDW. The length of that bus was identical to the Match Box buses mentioned earlier in this thread. I can't remember the scale to see if this new bus is the same. He also created several other buses for me for each of the other Disney parks around the world. No they don't really exist, but I have one for each park anyway. I also sent him a cardboard sample of the VEA bus used in Paris, and he created a bus that is remarkably similar in every detail. I collect unusual Disney items such as buses and airplanes, thus the reason I am familiar with the seller. Hope this helps.

Just so everyone knows. THESE ARE NOT REAL DISNEY ITEMS. They are not made by Disney or for Disney. It is someone who had an idea and offers them. I have had a lot of emails about this and want everyone to know they are not true Disney items.

That bus is sooooooooooo cute!

Maybe your Dad would let you wash his car (or do some other chores) to earn the money? That's what my little nephew is doing to earn money for an
R2-D2 collectible he wants.

Disney does however, have a transporation line of collectables, I saw them in Mouse Gear at Epcot. Wish I had more info for you, they did have some buses, but nothing very large scale.
