Does anyone know when the parks will be decorated for Christmas this year?

My husband and I just planned an impromtu trip to WDW from Nov. 19th till the 25th. Does anyone know when the parks will be decorated? I hope we are able to see them.

I don't know for sure, but I thought they always started putting the decorations up the night of Thanksgiving. If so you would be there to see them on the 24th and 25th.

The resort decorations start to go up as soon as the beginning of November- we stayed at POFQ the first weekend of November 2004, and the tree in the lobby and other decorations were going up while we were there. I'd think that decorating WDW-wide is pretty much complete by Thanksgiving.

Two years ago we were there for DD birthday (Nov.10th) and the AKL as well as a number of other resorts were decorated during our stay. Total Disney Magic if you ask me-go to bed at midnight-all is normal- and got up at 6-completley decorated!!! Never heard a sound!!!!! One thing that was not done during our stay was the gingerbread house at the GF. I remember looking for it and they said it goes up a bit later. Hope this helps!

The first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
is Nov. 13, and MK must be decorated for that.

Does anyone know when they take them down? We will be there for New Years and would like to see them.

I'm sure I read where they leave them up the first week of Jan., so you should be okay.
