Just curious if there are any good benefits that would make it worthwhile to get one.
Thanks!:goodvibes

If you plan on going to Universal then it's a good deal to get one. You can get a 10% discount on most resturants in the park and at City Walk, plus at some of the stores.
Plus like most credit cards you get rewards either cash, movies, etc. for using the card, double points for using it at the parks.

we just got one. If you apply through the link at the universal studios you will get a $25 statement credit and 6 months 0%APR. The rewards are pretty much like all chase reward cards, but they also have universal exclusive stuff. If you dont care about the 6 month 0% APR, then look into the chase freedom reward card. That will give you 3% back on fast food resturants, gas and grocery store purchases.

Yeah, you get 10% of things at the park... It's ok if you don't have an PAP. You do get double points for purchases at the park as well (If you get 80,000 you get a free trip to RPR!).

Occasionaly they will allow you the chance to free tickets to Universal Movie premiers (they go fast and they are limited). Once in awhile you get a freebie if you use the card during a promotion (got a free King Kong DVD). And they will occasionaly offer promotional low or no interest on vacation packages, hotels and tickets. But sometimes you need to book the whole vacation through Universals services, so that's rack rate.

We have one and are FINALLY able to redeem our points on our July trip. We are getting 3 nights at Royal Pacific, park tickets, and some meals. Keep in mind that it took years to accumulate this number of points and we change a lot on the card.

i got my universal mastercard 4.5 years ago.

only 5000 more points and i get a free on site stay.

yes, you can use it for 10% discounts at the park.
