We drink a lot of carbonated (unflavored or naturally flavored) water. I was looking at this for DH for Christmas. Does anyone have one and have a review/opinon?

We've had it for two years and it's great. The CO2 bottles last a pretty long time. My husband likes the plain carbonated water. I tried some of the natural water flavors and they are ok (others might like them, I'm not a big flavored water fan). I really liked the soda flavors. I usually only like brand name soda and theirs were really good.

Yes!

We have had it for about 18 months and really like it.

I, personally, just prefer the carbonated water with no syrup.

DH makes diet sodas. I do like the diet ginger ale. The diet cola is just okay for me, but still good.

If nothing else, it is reallly nice not to have to haul the bottles/cans home from the grocery store and then to the recycling center.

We have five soda bottles that we just constantly refill with tap water, and keep in the fridge ready to go.

We have had our Soda Stream for a few months. It is great. We like all of the regular flavors. The diet sodas are good too. :thumbsup2

I had one and I used it ALLL the time...I would order they syrups online, and they would arrive a few days later...I really only stopped using mine because my Co2 and my bottles were both due for replacing, and I had just lost my job and could not afford to replace them...I still have my machine though..I bought it at the fair..LOL

I'm planning on getting one for dd14 at BB&B with the 20% off coupon - she drinks 2 bottles of seltzer per day, and I drink 1.

Had mine since about June. I love it. I prefer to drink plain seltzer water over tap, so this is perfect.... no lugging bottles home from the grocery store, no empty bottles to carry to the recycling center. I havve 4 bottles full of tap water in the fridge all the time. We are lucky we have excellent tap water.

FWIW, I paid $99.99 this summer... I didn't really shop around, so I'm not sure if I overpaid or what. Because we live pretty far from a store where I can buy cannister refills, I keep three on hand at all times. I can have one in the machine, one empty ready to return, and one other.

Honestly.... I love it. I know that some health experts are starting to talk about C02 carbonation not being healthy, but I'm not really worried terribly much about that right now.... but it might be something to think about...............P

I had something similar years ago, but it would make a fresh 12 ounce glass instead of a bottle at a time.

We used it until the company went out of business and no longer sold the CO2 cartridges.

This is the one I had:

I won't get another one as we don't drink nearly as much carbonated stuff as we used to.

Do they have a money back guarantee on them or is there anywhere to try the diet coke flavoring? I would hate to spend that much money on it and not like the taste of the diet coke which is the only soda we drink.

Hannity talks about this company on his radio show every day. He'll give a free-bee out to some of his callers, too. Said they are available at Bed Bath and Beyond.

I know one of our local kitchen shops sells them and will sample it for you, so it may be worth seeking out a retailer to find out if you can do this too.

We love ours and it is nice to have lots of variety when we have guests over, like we just did. Everyone can pick what kind they want and we don't have to have so many cans/bottles in the pantry.

I bought one of these for my SIL last Christmas. He loves it, and uses it all the time.

He makes his own flavorings using a simple syrup base and adding fruit juice concentrates or other home made concoctions.

Sur La Table has them, and they usually have demos/samples. Not sure if you could choose your flavor or not.
