Giant eagle is offering 20 cents off a gallon of gas in fuel perks if you buy a 50 dollar gift card... I have funded an entire disney trip this way and ended up with 6 almost free tanks of gas!

Can I use the gift cards to pay for my trip that is booked already, but not paid in full?

I know I have paid for airline tickets online with gift cards, but not sure how the Disney gift cards work with a trip already booked.

Yep, I always buy Disney gift cards when Giant Eagle does double fuel perks. I use these to pay our timeshare annual dues, our meals/other expenses while on our vacation plus I keep a few on hand for when we go to our local Disney store... gotta love free gas .

Hi, could someone who does this take a little time to explain it in detail with numbers and $ amounts? I'm having a tough time figuring how the 6 nearly free tanks of gas happen.

20 cents off of a gallon of gas for every 50 dollars you get equals 2 dollars off of a gallon for every 500 in gift cards, so if you get 750 in gift cards, you get 3 dollars off of a gallon of gas. It took me several 750 in gift cards to pay for my past two trips which equals 6 tanks of gas almost free!
