Does anyone get consecutive postcards for special discounted rates?

I received a postcard for discounted rates for deluxe hotels up to 7/3/03. However, I did not use it for my stay in May (stayed at Swan). For the one starting in late August, many people here have received postcards, but I did not receive any or any e-mails (never received e-mails with pin # before either).

I am just wondering how random this thing is? Does anyone get them over and over? If so, what is the secret?

I have no idea what the secret is (I'd like to, though!), but in the past 11 months, I've received 2 postcards and 1 email, none of which we were able to use because none of them covered the dates we were traveling. In between postcard #1 and postcard #2 we were in WDW in January, using our AP discount. I forget what dates the 2 different postcards covered, but the email I just got is the one that only covers dates until I think it's 10/1/03.

I recieved an email to the address which I registed on the WDW site with for a reduced rate for Value Hotels about a week ago. I thought it was odd as I had already booked for Oct and have never stayed at a Value Resort.
My DH received a postcard in the mail this week for reduced Deluxe rates. However, his name is not on the WDW site register. But we did use his name/card to book the trip under with AAA. So it's not just from registering on the WDW site.
I don't think there is any rhyme or reason. I couldn't use these, but I hope that they will continue sending in the future.
