Does anyone else think the busses suck?

Suck? no. Are they inconvenient sometimes, yes. Do I care all that much? No, because I don't have to drive. I'm used to public transportation though. and they work better than the public transportation I'm used to.

OP would not be alone, there are a lot of WDW guests who won't go without renting a car.

Buses are great, orchestration is terrible. How do you send a double bus to a stop with 10 people when there are two other stops with literally hundreds of people. See it every day.

Only a few resorts have had their load zones extended to accommodate the articulated buses, and MK & DS are the only hubs that can accommodate them.

Some resorts, like OKW, would probably never be able to accommodate articulated buses on their internal roads.

I find it depends on where your staying for how much you like them.. Some resorts have so many stops it can double your travel time, and they happen to be resorts your car is close so there is a serious change in enjoyment (I hate the bus at CBR for example) but a resort like POFQ and I really like it.

IMHO, yes, they do. We drive everywhere, except the MK since it is such a cluster. My favorite thing about Disneyland is not having to use any Disney transportation-just walk from our resort to both parks.

Despise standing on a bus, packed like sardines with clammy strangers....but my feet are too tired to wait for another and I'd probably stand on the next one also so that someone else who needed my seat could have it.

The ferries/boats are dirty.

And the monorails break down frequently.

Yes, I'm full of good cheer tonight, lol.
